I just joined Team :banana: a week or so ago, but when I came back from Labor Day Weekend, My account was gone 🙁 so I had to make a new one. At least this one matches my Username on the forums. 😉 GO TEAM :BANANA:! (Shouldn’t YOU join Team :banana:? *Points finger like Uncle Sam*)

Sorry, Dave, someone beat you to it. Here is the solution to my problem.
Go to Start > Run > Type “services.msc” without the quotes.
Scroll down until you see the Themes setting. Right-click on it. Hit Start. If Start is disabled, right-click and hit Proplerties, then at the drop-down menu that appears, change it to Automatic. Then, right-clikc again, and hit Start. If this does not solve the problem, I apologize. MODERATORS: I believe if I am not mistaken, you can close this topic now that it has been solved.

I’m not trying to turn this into a big browser argument, but I run Maxthon http://www.maxthon.com/, aka MyIE2. It has the same functionality as IE, but better, with tabbed windows, etc.
Oh, by that, I meant that when I ran it from the Run… Menu, an MS-DOS window popped up for about four seconds, then disappeared. Then nothing. So I checked my Display Properties, and still nothing.
I agree wih Jeff. We shouldn’t get all freked out because one person thinks Windows is bad.
And, besides, where’s his proof? He doesn’t actually tell you where the foldes are, does he?Jeff’s right. Windows has its place, and so does Linux.EDIT: Spoke too soon.
Well, when I ran it, it gave a response, but there’s still no XP theme. Good try though, I would have never thought of that.

I used to have that websearch toolbar. To delete it, start Windows in Safe Mode. (Hold F8 at startup) Then, run Norton Anti-Virus or similar. That should take care of it. Also, I deleted some random folders that sounded bogus on my hard drive. That should fix it. Oh, and btw, Ad-aware doesn’t pick this up, it’s very well disguised.
My friend, you must have been living in a hole for the past year. Tabbed windows are all the rave! They’re stylish, yet have a sleek, clean design to them. No, I’m just joking. Tabbed IM windws are, instead of having multiple AIM windows open, it puts then together into one window with Windows tabs at the top so you can switch between conversations.
