Uh, yeah, good luck with that. You have no legal recourse, read the TOS. It’s not as if you’re paying for it, either, like you are with phone service (which someone else likened it to).
spitfireMemberQuote:quote:Originally posted by PMJ2kxHere’s the interesting twist to my story. You see, in the TOS (Terms of Service), it states that if an account goes inactive for 90 days, they hvae the right to terminate it. Funny thing is, I was away from AIM for 13 months (I was on a mission for my church and had no internet connection), yet when I came home in October, my account worked up until the last week (late November).
Interesting. I hadn’t used mine for a few months, I think. Can’t quite remember how long. I have been using it daily for the past month, though.
spitfireMemberI’m also suspended, and I have never had an AOL account in my life. If they are indeed doing some house cleaning, it’d at least be nice of them to put some notification up -somewhere- to let us know what the fuznuck is going on and what the criteria is for suspension. If nothing else, it’d keep the “WHY IS MY ACCOUNT SUSENDED!??!?!!?” emails they receive to a minimum.
Good work, AOL.
