Oops, sorry my computer was going kinda slow so I clicked on “Post New Reply” 1 too many times 🙂 so it sent my message twice…
I have Windows XP… and I don’t have a proxy. My host is login.oscar.aol.com and my port is 5190. This morning I was getting that “The AIM service cannot be reached” I don’t know what to do. If anyone has any advice please let me know!

Br!I’m havin the same problem but I don’t get the signal “The server cannot be reached” or whatever…it just goes to 1. Connecting… and stays there..it doesn’t move onto the next step…nobody is helping me or writing back to my messages… I don’t undestand how to fix it and i’m getting so frustrated….please someone write something to me…whether this can or cannot be fixed….
I have almost the same problem…but I don’t get “the service cannot be reached” When I click sign on it goes to 1. Connecting… and doesn’t goto the next steps, it just sits on there. I don’t know how to fix this problem. Does anyone know how I can fix this???

ThanxI cannot sign into AIM….when I type in my password (well it’s saved) but I know it’s correct, I click the sign in button..it goes to 1. connecting… and doesn’t goto the next 2 steps then sign on…it just sits on step 1 and doesn’t go anywhere…I don’t get any pop ups or whatever, it just doesn’t sign on?? Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?
My AIM won’t work either…it won’t sign on*….when I click sign on it goes to step 1. connecting…. then it doesn’t go passed that… I don’t know how to fix this problem…this happened to me about 3 weeks ago and I went about 2 weeks without AIM then one day I tried signing on again (knowing it wouldn’t work) and it worked…it signed on just fine. But I don’t wanna wait 2 weeks again…please someone answer my question 🙁
