MemberYeah, thanks for you response, I was leaning toward the Compaq also. When you mentioned the “ATi Radeon Express Mobile card “, are we talking about the same Compaq?
That is the Compaq I am considering.
Thanks again, you have been a big help.

MemberThe only way I can think of is upgrading that’s the only way to get it to work on 5.5. Try to like 5.9 it’s not much different. or Get 5.9.3702 and get middle man it works perfectly.

MemberI understand how this works but will it still keep me logged on if their servers reboot or something like that? Are there any other alternatives?
Thanks MrEggsalad

You need to be online for the Away Message, so yeah.Is there a way to be logged on all the time w/o using the AIM or Trillian Client itself or is there a redirecting software I can use? So if they IM my old sn it’ll redirect it to me or it will inform them about my new sn.

MemberAwesomeSauce wrote:Err.. yes they do. They have forums, huge FAQs, and a bunch of other stuff:I have a Zen Micro, and it has a charge status bar… strange that the Zen Xtra doesn’t have something like that.
Thanks for that link. I guess I’m just bad at finding things.

In ur e-mail include the model code and the serial number. I can bet that they will ask those questions.
Then include the problem. You should get a reply on monday or tuesday. 🙂and/or post in their forum:

I have a creative zen touch and it shuts off automatically after the charge is complete.
Thanks a lot. Ill try that out.

MemberWell the manual says to leave it on while its charging, but that doesnt make too much sense to me. I have to charge it for at least 2-3 hours for the battery to be the full 3 notches. There is no indicator on the zen xtra that shows that the battery charging is complete. Creative doesnt have a forum or a help center.
Thanks for your help.

I’ll do a virus scan and see what comes up, that might be the problem.

MemberGoldenKnight8987 wrote:Hi there! I’m sorry to hear about this. I think you might have some things mixed up. Standby is where you move your mouse and it wakes up and hibernate takes everything in your memory, puts it on the hard drive and shuts it down. How old is your computer? i’d definately say a faulty switch is a good possibility…. or maybe a faulty power supply? I wouldnt take my word on it being the exact cause, since I havent had this happen before, but it’s something to consider. Good luck!Hey, thanks for answering. If I put my computer on standby and i dont do anything it recovers itself. If I put it on hibernate it wakes itself up without me turning the computer on. The only way for me is to shut down all the way down, and I am used to hibernating.
Does that make it clearer?
I got this in Feb. 2005. This is a Gateway.
