MemberYes, babybuick this is possible, it seems to be a very hush hush thing in Yahoo, but it is real. I do not know what to tell you as I am currently searching out answers myself, in regards to this issue.
One should be able to talk to whomever they wish and not be spied on by others….No one seems to know how it is done…read my post from a few days ago, PM Reading in Yahoo.tenderheart
MemberYes shifter, you are correct in what you are saying, it was someone other than the intended recipient. Yes, the problem still exsits and the computer has been formatted.
And, no the information is not coming from anyone who has access to this computer, if you go back and read a message posted by Netti, on Aug. 2003, she described the same situation as is happening to me and countless others. So I am left assuming it must be coming from a remote location.
It is happening without my consent and permission. I have been left with little choice at the moment other than to create a screen name that does not allow any friends, and try and find what they are calling an IP Cloaker.tenderheart
MemberPM Privacy!!! Yahoo has allowed private messages to be read and archived. For all the supposed fixes Yahoo has put out there they have neglected to deal with this core issue. Why???
Also, like some one else posted, the ability to remove your name off of some one elses list.tenderheart
MemberI am new to forums and how they work, however I came across one article that had to do with PM reading in Yahoo, how is this possible as I have also had some experience in this area, and would like to know how to protect what is supposed to be a private message between two friends, and keep it private. It is no ones business what I chose to discuse in a PM, and quite frankly I feel violated by Yahoo (who has not fixed this issue) and the Hackers who feel the need or right to invade a private message.
Can anyone help me please understand and stop this kind of abuse…Thank you -
