When you say you here no music, how are you trying to play it? Yahoo Music? or is it a bigger problem like CD’s. In other words, is the problems with sounds confined to Yahoo? Or is it thruout your PC.
If this problem is more of a computer problem than a Yahoo messenger problem it may need to be moved to the Computer help section. If this is the case I can move the topic.

Welcome to BBB. Are you possibly using Windowblinds? Windowblinds has caused similar issues with Yahoo messenger before. If thats the case there is a option in Windowblinds to exclude certian programs like Yahoo.
Hi welcome to BBB. It sounds as if it may be a problem with a router? I was just reading that some routers from Comcast will not work with Yahoo webcams. Do you have a Comcast router?
Look under your preferences > privacy. Make sure the line that reads “Allow Yahoo! websites to show when I am online” is not checked.
I think thats probably why its showing. Also I have noticed a lag in that before, where it may take a while for a Yahoo! page to update.

It is possible to run two instances of yahoo using a polygamy patch but I am unsure if they can be seperate versions. ie “Latin America” and “U.S.”.
There are several links to polygamy patches here on bbb but depending on what version you have you have to use a certain patch…

Well my first question would be, Why are you trying to find out whos doin it? To get back at them? There really is no point. Booting is just a childish game. I suggest just changing ID’s until the booter has got bored and moved on.
