Try DeadAIM it cost money but there is a reason for it … IT WORKS!!!

Aimutation has tabbed windows as well. However I’m not sure what the differences are in “you can’t use transparency on aimutation like you can on dead aim”? I use transparency with no problem using Aimutation.
I will agree both are great products and the user will need to decide which product is going to suit their needs best.

Both Aimutation and DeadAim provide this feature provided that your operating system supports trancperency. Both are great AIM add-ons.
What your talking about I have already done on my site.
It is possible to do. You need to find a program that will convert the mpg frames to GIF or JPG then you will need another program to convert those frames to an animated GIF. Keeping in mind that AIM will not allow buddy icons larger than 7kb.

There appears to be a font bug in the latest version of AIM 5.2.3277
Only offical AIM expressions will show up when you send an IM to your Buddy. This is a so called security feature created by AOL. If you want your buddies to see the same expression that you are using, if it wasn’t created by AOL, you will need to send them the link for them to install the same expression.
