I am using something called MSGTAG. http://www.msgtag.com/home/
My main reason for doing so is when my mail becomes rather instable as sometimes mail does (I am having month long issues with mine), this notifies me when the mails are opened. This helps me on with important clients to just breathe easier that they have received my mail. MSGTAG is free, but there is one available for purchase. So far, I am happy with the free version. Just so others don’t have to feel like you are spying on them, there is a discrete message at the bottom indicating that you are being notified. The recipient doens’t have to clieck yes or no as when you send a request with other email programs.Another I have used, and liked as well, was a free program called Have They Read It Yet. http://www.webattack.com/get/readityet.html
Hope this helps. Emails can be very important and sometimes they are not reliable 100%, servers go down, and they go missing. This really helps to know.

BarbOne could make a screen shot of the chat. Best with the other person’s permission, though.
A screen shot is made by hitting the PrtSc button on your keyboard, then you open any graphics program, go to edit, paste, and then there will be your screen shot.

However if your voice and yahoo chat are so important, and this Kazaa could be the problem according to Netti, you might think about getting rid of the culprit. However it may not be that easy. There are certain programs that can help you though.

I have had simular problems, and also tried a complete and thorough UNinstall of the program
reinstalled the newest, it won’t even work for me at all, I got a solid yellow flower. So. Went back
to the older ICQ, I can still only send and receive mesages while ‘online’ not while visible to another.
So I can’t say a reinstall will help you. I suppose is worth a try.Melnee thanks

You didn’t mention if you were both running the same version of Messenger…also even the same version of windows.
I think I have noticed some incompatibility of sorts when not using the same version of messenger and windows.I usually go to the message history of the individual I had been talking to, highlight the part of the messages I want to keep, then click the “save as” button. It will save the file as .txt and allows you to name it how you wish and to choose which folder you want it on your pc.
Very handy for business and remembering what clients say!

You can push the control button and enter at the same time and it will send your message without having to stop and touch the mouse.ICQ for me is the best too!
