I’m in total agreement with you. I feel that the Beatles are a classic group; there will never be another band like them. I’m a pianist and I think their songs are wonderfully unique. The chord sequences and melody and all that stuff…totally blows me away even now (maybe I’m an old sod)
It’s their poignant songs that make my neck hairs stand on end: The Long and Winding Road, With a little help from my friends, If I fell, Ticket to Ride, She’s Leaving Home…the list is endless.
There, I’ve said my two cent’s worth.

Still I might check that one out this week so I can do a bit of Wonderwall in the car! 😉I love Oasis, Wonderwall and Champange Supernova are really good. 😀

ParticipantI’ve been alternating between two different sets lately. On one hand I’ve got my Daft Punk collection, notably ‘Homework’ (favorite track on there is ‘Da Funk’); on the other hand I’ve got Clint Mansell’s score to the movie ‘Requiem for a Dream’ and the follow-up remix project from a year later.
Between those two groups, I’ve been set for the last week and some.
