AwesomeSauceParticipant
when typing your name, hold down Alt, them while your holding it down, on your number pad, press 0, then 1, then 6, then 0.
P.S. make sure num lock is on.
AwesomeSauceParticipantUnfortunately, you can’t use MSN messenger 6.0 or lower anymore…… I dowloaded it on oldversion.com, but from what I remember, it said I had to download a new one.
6.2 was a dissapointment. when I downloaded it on my computer, I didn’t bother to download it on my other one.
AwesomeSauceParticipantQuote:quote:thanks, but both sites show me if i’m online. You type the OTHER person’s email address that you think is blocking you, not YOURS.
AwesomeSauceParticipantyou can also go to Tools>Options>privacy tab, and then uncheck the one at the very top: “Only people on my allow list can send me messages” then uncheck the box near the bottom saying “Alert me when people add me to their contact list.” That’s just if you don’t want that pop-up anymore. Unfortunately, this can open up to spam also, or “spim”.
AwesomeSauceParticipantI’m guessing the animated avatars will come out in 7.0. THat’s something to look forward to. If they don’t come out, and making animated pictures is so easy, then they may never have animated avatars.
AwesomeSauceParticipantWhen I had the toolbar, I just clicked View>Toolbars>(then the name of the toolbar, whatever it was), and it would go away. Unfortunately, it would reappear when you restarted IE, but I think I made it go away so many times eventually it just dissapeared forever.
AwesomeSauceParticipantUmmm… is that the same thing as XP? 😀
AwesomeSauceParticipantwhat operating system do you have?
AwesomeSauceParticipantI agree, Red Devil, if they don’t have a display picture, chances are they have an older version. Anyway, probably no one with 6.0 or higher would choose to not show their display picture.
Oh yeah, and even if the contact doesn’t choose the choice to hide their display picture, and they’ve got 6.0 or higher, the reason why you can’t see their picture is because you don’t have them on your contact list. I don’t know why you have to do that….. but chances are you have them on your contact list anyway.
AwesomeSauceParticipantOk…. :p
I’ve got XP. And when I try to run an old DOS game like “Corncob 3D” (something you’ve probably never heard of) it runs too fast and choppy. other games will be choppy and pause frequently. 😮
AwesomeSauceParticipantItalian, chinese…. oh, baby!!!
AwesomeSauceParticipantMy school recently got some “new” computers, but they’re just as crappy as the old ones, crappy old beige-boxes. windows…. 95, I think.
3.1? that’s gotta bite.
AwesomeSauceParticipantI hate those “Classmates” banners and those popups that always say “Your computer could be infected with spyware! download this! blah, blah, blah….
AwesomeSauceParticipantSmiley Central is awesome. It also comes with Cursor Mania. Another way the toolbar is useful is that ts has a google-powered search-engine. That’s VERY useful.
AwesomeSauceParticipantStrong bad is the best. I got my name from one of his emails.
