I’m all for the speed and memory improvements, but I’m not so sure how I feel about the slightly-different GUI. I suppose it’s fine. The downloads window seems to have actually taken a step backward, considering the fact you have to double click on the file in order to open it. Before, I only had to click once, but now twice? Come on, I didn’t order a gym membership.
AwesomeSauceParticipantWhat about some older ones? I’m personally a fan of classic horror movies. I’d go as far as to say that The Exorcist is probably the apex of modern horror. There’s a lot to choose from, though. If it’s directed by Stanley Kubrick then you know it’s probably good. Same with Alfred Hitchcock.
AwesomeSauceParticipantWow. Coincidence much? When I clicked on this thread, I thought of The Matrix too… except, I’m gonna choose the rooftop scene rather than the lobby scene.
AwesomeSauceParticipantIAM – “Le Style de Lhomme Libre”. I am not a fan of hip-hop by any means, however, it’s tracks like this that can really change my thoughts on the genre. IAM is a French rap artist who actually has some really well-produced and good-sounding tracks. Perhaps if you check this song out you’ll feel the same way.

Though I do like the one you linked. May have to check them out a bit more.
Oh no you’re not. I can totally recognize the “uuiU” at the end of that URL. You’re not fooling anyone.
Anyway, cocama, I’m glad you asked. Probably just because trance music is, like, the awesomest music ever. Kind of. I’ll be quick and list some good house and trance artists right here:
Matt Darey
Hemstock and Jennings
Denga and Manus
Armin van Buuren
ATB
Gabriel and Dresden
Ronski Speed
Lasgo
Above and BeyondJust to name a few.

AwesomeSauceParticipantAlthough Quake 3 is technically more impressive, I’ve always considered the original Doom as the de facto game to port to everything. For example: Doom became available on DOS, Windows, Linux, OS/2, Amiga, Atari Jaguar, Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, even Gameboy Advance. Then there’s the source ports making Doom also available on platforms like the Nintendo DS, the older iPod models and even digital cameras. Hell, I can even play Doom on my toaster.
So you see, I don’t really care as long as I can at least play Doom on my iPod touch. Except… I don’t have a touch. But that’s ok. Maybe sometime in the future.

Until a tiny one at the end, with a message saying something like ‘I would love to go to the dance’ inside? That’s a great idea. The way I answered is actually similar to this.
I know I’m late on posting an update – I actually responded to her a few weeks ago – but long story short, it didn’t end up being as awesome as I wanted it to. I realize that I really exaggerated that in my initial post. But that’s ok.
I wrote “YES” on a piece of paper, and put it in a small plastic easter egg. Then I wrapped duct tape around it. I mean… tons of duct tape. Layers and layers. It ended up being almost as big as a basketball.
I then put it in a box with a message saying that I did indeed write my response in a piece of paper, but it got mixed up in a bunch of tape, hence forcing her to unwrap a lot of duct tape in order to see it.
I guess what makes it a little more interesting is simply the way I delivered it. I was on the phone with her one night, having a lengthy conversation with her (like we usually do). On this particular night, little did she know that while I was talking to her, I was not at home; rather, I was parked two blocks away from her house, walking down her street while wearing black clothes and a headset, carrying a package in my hands. Seemingly out of nowhere, in the middle of our conversation, I said “Hey, you should probably answer your door.” And suddenly her doorbell rang, with the package on her porch. It was pretty fun.
So yeah, the dance is this Saturday and I’m looking forward to it. Thanks for your input guys. 🙂

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. It’s a great idea if you have the know-how of installing it on your own server (which isn’t hard). Otherwise, WordPress offers the ability to set up an easier (but less flexible) blog on their servers, therefore eliminating the need to find your own hosting.

As for me… well, there’s a lot of different stuff. I suppose one of the artists who’s been more high-key in my music library would be Matt Darey. Specifically:
Matt Darey – Beautiful (Original Mix)
Matt Darey feat. Izzy – Eternity (almost any of the remixes)There’s so much of his work that I still haven’t heard. I guess I’ll have to get on that.

This thread has been drawn out a little too long. I suggest we end the debating. Each man to his own.
