Well, I mean…. my computer account, or…. well,- whatever. Anyway, I tried that NET START messenger and it said:
System error 1058 has occurred.
The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.
How can I enable it? Or did somebody already tell me how, and I was too stupid to see it? David told me how to start it, but that’s not the same as enabling it. 😉

I have windows XP on both computers. But I just relized something.
One of my computers does not have a hotmail account set up with it. (or a .NET passport, or a.. I mean- whatever) That’s the computer that I can send messages to myself on. The other one I can’t, and that has a account with my email address.
So… i’m sure I would be able to do it if there was a way to make it so it doesn’t have an account on that comp.. does anyone know how?
So anyway, this Netsend thing only works on one of my computers.
yyyyyepp. i’m confused. Maybe i’ll just give up. unless somebody can actually tell me exactly how to use it, or if you can still use it.

How come when I try to install the BBB tab, it says it can’t find my directory (or somethin like that) ? I have 6.1.0207 and windows XP please help? 😡
yeah, but that other person has to have the person that has blocked you on THEIR list, too. Then if they invite you to their conversation, the other person that hasn’t blocked you has to stay on. if they leave, then a message at the top of the window will say that you cannot continue the conversation because the person that blocked you does not have you on their allow list. But in some cases, that doesn’t nessacarily mean that person blocked you. Maybe it’s because they just haven’t added you to their contacts list before.
Ok, at the top of your messenger window, click tools, then options… then check the box that says “show display picture from others in instant message conversations.”
wait a minute; i fixed it. on your messenger plus, go to the prefrences and then go to custom names. uncheck the box that asks if you want to use custom names or not, then i think that should do it. if you weren’t using custom names, then i don’t know what the crap is wrong.
