The skin didn’t come with it’s own editing program. How do i do that, David? The only thing that i’m actually experienced with modding is AIM.

Eh, you don’t really need a firewall. People can’t hack you if you’re behind a router.

I’m running 5.2.3292 which is lower than yours, I only got the update message once. After i hit “no thanks i won’t upgrade to your newest pile of sh!t”, i never got the message again.

There’s a Gaim plug-in that allows you to do that. I can’t find the link for it though.

This is what you should do (to get the most out of AIM):

Install 5.2.3292
Install DeadAIM
Install Middle_Man
Install Smilez 3.0 beta 7

In THAT Order

I have it setup that way, and it works without any bugs what-so-ever.

Maybe a file was corrupt, Try re-installing Middle_Man.

What version of AIM do you have?
I use 5.2.3292, and i have no problems with DeadAIM or Middle_Man.

Maybe you have a trojan? Some of them are undetectable.

Step-by-step directions:

Press: Alt-Ctrl-Dlt
Click on the tab that says processes
Look for “aim.exe”
Report the numbers under “CPU” and “Mem Usage”
