Well i’ve heard of that!
Personally I always thought Mario was silly, some italian bloke with a moustache? how can that be fun, its just plain ordinary?
Sonic on the other hand is an abnormal hedgehog… so how can that not be fun!
Well, this is a first but, I agree with danger boy, great idea!
The chat feature seems to be greatly neglected, and a link would go a long way to rectify this.
I know i’m a fool, so that must mean i’m wise! š
Anyway I agree a BBB IM would be useless, as it would hardly ever be used, and the essage boards, and irc are much mroe useful on the whole.
It WOULD be nice if there were more smileys and the like on BBB, but I expect Jeff has better things to do with his time so we won’t be saying many upgrades on the forum, as it is servicable as it is. Perhaps some good ideas will appear here which Jeff, or whoever updates the forum can use….
Oh and DangerBoy, can you try not to complain about everything? Half your posts seem to be snide jabs at other people, at least try to treat the other people with respect and don’t b*tch all the time.
In my dreams you don’t ALWAYS get killed or savaged Penguin Hunter, you sometimes get humiliated and tortured, and occasionally nothing at all happens to you, because you’re not in them!
And it seems my dreams are also prophetic so….
hmmm, it seems your consolen obssesion has transferred to the forums Red Devil….
I’m really not qualified to hold an opinion about these two consoles as my experience with them is extremely limited…… but when has this ever stopped me chipping in an opinion. š
So I think that it has to be the Mega Drive, because, well because its the only one of the two that i’ve actaully heard of before, and sonic is cool, (even though I never got past level 1 on sonic 1, I acknowledge that sonic is the coolest hedgehog in existence :D).
Okay, I had another strange dream last night so I thought Iād share it with the good people at BBB š
Okay here it is:
Iām walking down a road going somewhere ā¦ somewhere important, though where Iām going I donāt know. Then a group of giant red squirrels appear and kidnap me.
So there I am being dragged off by a group of giant talking red squirrels who are arguing about which are the best types of nuts, this argument is long and involved and very difficult to follow, especially since all the squirrels appear to have Scottish accents.
As Iām dragged along I pass penguin hunter being savaged by a group of puppies, wearing the uniforms of policemen (puppy-sized obviously), and a group of my friends playing volleyball with red devils head.
At this point the squirrels carry me up a tree, and suddenly Iām in a tree house with a pen in my hand and a collection of papers full of complicated looking diagrams, which I donāt understand at all, and I know that I have to figure them out of bad things will happen. At the front of the tree house is an old red squirrel jabbering about maths in an incomprehensible Scottish accent, punctuating his meaningless gibberish with vicious stabs with his point at a blackboard.
Then things get weird, the old Scottish squirrel shouts 2calculate pi to the 100th decimal place, you can do it if you eat enough pieā, and starts shoving pieās at me. Then a group of flying talking pies appear and start singing āpie, pie, pieā while flying round my head, and a group of penguins waddle in and start drawing pictures of pieās on the board. Then red devils head is thrown threw the window and he says āno itās Pie, Pie, Piiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, get the words right. Fool.ā Then red devil, the old Scottish squirrel, the pies, and the penguins all start singing āPie, Pie, Piiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeā
At this point I scream and run and jump out of the tree house window and wake up.
Is it me or do all my dreams seem to be disturbing, and rather strange?

They do have something between their ears slack jawed expressions of idiocy.And I agree with all the males who have spoken they both look lame.
Ahhhh…. I can’t be bothered arguing anymore, I will concede that ICQ is probably as good as and may be better than MSN, but I don’t think the falws are as bad as you think, however until I get ICQ I will withhold my comments.
However I agee with DoS’s comment, choice of IM largly depends on what IM your contacts have.
Oh and I shall point out that MSN should nto be ocmpared iwth windows messenger, as this version is pretty horrendous, to truly experience MSN you should probably use the actaul MSN bversion as it seems to have much mroe features.
anyway… i’ll go away now….
i agree Jason X is really rubbish, I saw some of it the other day, but frankly I got bred after watching it for 10 minutes as it was incredibly boring and not scary at all. Oh and as to your point about them having 2000 years to realise taht jason does not die, well when have we ever learnt anything from history… we’ve had 10000 years to figure out taht wars not a bad idea, but we keep on having them.
gothika was I agree watchable, but as you said we all figure dout the plot after watching it for half an hour, so the hour we spent watching the rest was just watchig I t unfold, which got quite boring. (However the penguins which appeared in it from time to time were funny)
Oh and penguin hunter and red devil, you were going to see shaun of the Dead and you didnt tell me!!! someone is going to suffer for this!
I would think up some scary horror films but taht would require diverting my braincells from plotting numerous tortures for you…. š

Well if you donāt want people to talk to you why donāt you just block them? In fact why donāt you want to talk to them if they are on your contact list?

Yes, but I was thinking more of when you’re disconnected from the internet.
But it’s impossible to send a message to someone if you are disconnected from the internet, on any IM, as far as I know anyway, as I donāt actually have ICQ.

With Plus, you still have to be online. With ICQ, you can leave a message and go offline again.
Again just send them an email, it doesnāt take that long, and when the person comes online they will have a message.

Do they have all of those features?Actually I was wrong there, didnāt really read the topic properly, but Iām sure that some of these features are implemented in the various mods out there.

How do you do that?
You can send any saved file using the send file option, as all the things you mention seem to be saved files, or text which you can copy into a message, I dont see why this is a problem.

I think it’s 150.
when you say users do you mean contacts? because yes there is a limit of 150 contacts, but users would refer to the number of people worldwide who can use messenger at the same time, and I donāt think thereās a limit on that, and if there is its a LOT higher than 150 ;).

Where’s this?
Just go into the add contacts section, and add their email address to your contact list, and select the option to send an email to them. When they sign up to MSN, you will be aware of it.

To chat to someone not on your contact list, click start an IM conversation, and select the option other from the tab bars. Then type in the address of the person you want to speak to and a conversation will be started.to find friends, click on search for a contact and this will allow you to search for a contact through their interests/ names etc
to create a detailed profile go on tools/ options and click edit profile, this will let you create a profile with your interests, favourite quotes etc

for a start the games available on MSN, allow you to play your contacts, who doesn’t enjoy a good game of tic tac toe every now and again? šThen theres the multi person convos, display pics, nicks, the ability to start audo convs, video conferencing, MSN also allows you to exchange ip’s quickly and easily in many games for online play (starting the game for you), plus all the extra features now availbale on plus, and the mods online, need I go on
