I’ve checked the History Database and I saw that every message sent to me is there. I used an XML converter to read them.
However, there have been times when someone just added me to his contact list withotu sending me any message and because of the he wasn’t stored in the HistoryDB. So I am asking if they have been stored somewhere or not because it pretty sux when I close the authorisation window to not be able to view who previously added me.
And it is not done by right clicking on the “System Notice” because it is always empty. I’ve just been asked for an authorisation and when I clicked on “System Notice” there wasn’t anything in there.
Oh, well this “Apllication Data” folder was hidden on my computer that’s why I couldn’t find it. Yes, all the history is there and I can’t just access the history directly from ICQ because I’ve deleted some of the contacts I need the history of.
And I also would like to ask if there is a way to view recently recieved system messages and authorisation requests because sometimes I simply skip them and they disappear.
I am currently using ICQ version 5.03 and I wonder in what location is my message history saved. When I enable it from preferenced it pops-up a message: “Please, note that your ICQ history will be stored locally on your computer” but there isn’t said exactly where. Does anyone know ?
And I also wanna ask if there is a way that I add a contact that has just added me but I accidently closed the authorisation window without adding him so I practically don’t know who he is 🙁 …
Well with the new Buddy Spy 2.2.2 it’s the same. When he comes online and I can see him all the P2P , avatar and web check show online as well as profiles.yahoo.com. When I see him that he signs off then P2P starts to show offline but all the others stay online !
Is it possible that this is one of his profile IDs and when he logs in with the others profiles.yahoo.com shows this as online as well as the avatar and web check packets. What’s the problem with P2P check ?
Is it possible that this contradiction accurs if he uses the YM 7 ??I am with the “old” Buddy Spy 2.2.1 and the “old” YM 6. Well how is it possible that Buddy Spy shows an user offline with P2P packet, online with Avatar and Web Check and Invite packet doesn’t work. At the same time he’s online according to profiles.yahoo.com.
Who should I trust to ?? 😮
Does the Buddy Spy work with the newest YM ?? May be this is the reason for these contradictive results.

Just copy the link at the bottom from “Contacts” => “Invite people to Yahoo! Messenger” and replace the given ID with the one you want to be added to your friends list.

After you login with your ID and click ok in the next page you will have a new “non-mutual” friend 😉 He will be added to your friends list but not to the address book. Even if he’s online he will be shown offline until you or him relogin.
Man I have Buddy Spy , I have Magic PS , I have everything and I use it but I am just asking in case there is a way that I send I know if a specific person has ignored me (in other words yahoo doesn’t send him my messages).
Another question – is the ignore list stored locally or is retrieved from yahoo.com ?
Is there a way to check if a person has ingnored me without they notice that ??
Through profile page I see him online but on my yahoo profile I see him offline so he either blocked me or ignored me. So my question is is there a way to check if I am ignored without having to start voice/cam convo or sending an IMvironment and I want to check it without risking him to notice if he has not ignored me but only blocked me.So is there now a way to add people to your buddy list without they know or not ?
Because the previous posts are very old, have yahoo patched this weakness ?No they do not receive a message that they are being scanned.
So with none of the four scanning methods they can’t know that someone scans them if they don’t use Anti-Buddy ?? Isn’t it possible that any other software shows these attempts , for example Zone Alarm ??
I downloaded AutoMate 6 but can you tell me how to configure that task so that Buddy Spy scans a list every 5 minutes (I can’t find the “wait a certain time” task in the Task Builder) ?
LOL ladyhaw6703 , your first post seems pretty good . May be I can use your knowledge for some issues that I have about YM.
