It wont even download on my pc. Must be the first version that requires 2000 and higher 🙁
I have 98seSorry Spike, I have searched and looked at all (or most) of those sites and still can not find a solution to the problem. I don’t have a HP Printer, I have a Lexmark Printer and I don’t get the error when I’am printing. I even uninstalled the printer and still getting the error. I also don’t have the font that is listed in there either. So I don’t know what I should do at this point.

Thanks for your suggestion Philip, but I don’t have that much RAM I only have 191MB of RAM:( . There must be a way that I could replace or update that file.

I would try to use that unlocker program but I don’t think it is for win98.When I try to run the system recovery disk it say Recovery was aborted. May need to run FDisk, use extreme caution with FDisk.

Actually, I have HP Pavilion System Recovery and Application Recovery, will those work?I tried everything, still nothing seems to work.:( Do you think if I have a friend put wmp on a cd, if that would work? I don’t know what happend to that file or how it became missing but, it’s making me crazy! I can’t even read some of my emails because I can’t use wmp. But anyways thanks for all your help and I’ll keep looking to see if theres anything else I can do.

Is something wrong with this zip? I tried it but it says..This archive is not a valid zip archive. Please obtain a new file.
Well I (had) the newest version but I had a problem with sounds..like when a buddy came online and off. All the sounds were different and I couldn’t hear if someone came on or off. So I went back to v.8.0.0.683 Works fine now. Maybe I had the prob because Im using windows 98 and not xp who knows
I used the link Stigmata gave, but nothing has changed. First I installed it over the one I had and that didn’t help so I uninstalled and redownloaded it and still nothing.
Also my Adobe Reader is doing this same thing to me. Not showing all of the words.
