I had to uninstall version 2.2 due to an error message that was continually popping up. I reinstalled it again and tried to do the automatic update. The two times I tried, buddy spy closed out after searching for updates. What can be wrong?
Ok, this is rediculous. It happened again today. I messaged my friend, this morning, I made sure to sign out as usual. He never got any of them.
Hi Netti, You are correct. I have his main id as well as an alias on my list. However, I actually get 4 boxes at the bottom. 2 for his main id and 2 for the alias. Weird.
UnSakredYou will not be working on anymore updates or enhancements to buddy spy? What about the alias checker?
Oh I forgot, about tracing it to the town. If they were the same person wouldn’t the town be the same?
Thanks. Everytime I am chatting with either one, their ip address is the same every time. They use roadrunner.
yes, I am using the netstat -n command. The two addresses are different
except for the neo.rr.com. When I run a traceroute using www.ip2location.com/free.asp it traces the ip to the town and they are two different ones. So the chances of it being the same person are slim right? On netstat which ip address would show, the internal or the outside ip address?
ok, but when I run the netstat command, which ip adddress would show, the ‘outside’ ip address or the internal address. Also, when running a traceroute on each of the ip addresses it shows two different towns.
The same thing happened to me. I received a message saying buddy is in room 110.

I have had a problem with scanning one buddy in particular. Sometimes I get a false positive reading. I rescan and it says offline. Scan again and it says online. This is the only person this seems to happen with. There is also another buddy with whom I know is online because it says so on my buddy list, however they are offline when I do a scan. This has occured with several versions of buddy spy. What gives? Why would certain profiles be prone to false readings and not others.
Another question. When I click on send buddy an im, nothing happens. What should I be doing or what am I doing wrong?
