I’m not quite sure on how you would go about tracking the hacker but it’s most likely very difficult considering it’s a web based email account and it’s not coming from a single personal computer. I am sure, however, if you do get in touch with someone at Hotmail or MSN that actually cares to help you, they could track which IP address logged onto the account and sent a certain email. That idea is very doubtful though.
Anyway, Hotmail has always been an insecure, spam-filled, and irritating email service for many years. Time to find a new email provider. I recommend Gmail or Yahoo! Mail which are both very great solutions with many features.
The only features necessary for an instant messaging program should be basic text, basic text formating, smilies, and logging.
To be honest, how often during a conversation online do most people utilize all of the text formating features like colored backgrounds, colored text, superscript, etc. etc. Besides the occasional Ctrl + B or Ctrl + I, it is very rare. Otherwise, it is used to really annoy people in an irritating conversation. So get rid of everything except bolding and italics, the rest can be achieved through CAPS and *stars*.
Smilies are a must. In online conversations, many times it is hard to tell the tone of voice or real meaning behind what someones says, compared to when talking in person and seeing someones body language and facial expressions. Through smilies, we can achieve this. However, there are only about four necessary smilies, the happy face :), sad face :(, tongue :P, and big smile :D. Besides that, the rest are just about never used.
I love and use logging often, even though it is completely unnecessary. It is helpful and allows me to check what someone said, links that were sent to me, etc.
All in all, simplicity is best. If I want to webcam, I’ll open a specific program to do so, or voice over the internet.
Again, like I said rape and potential disabilities to the mother or child are exceptions for abortion. I believe they can be used if the parents choose to do so. However, that father raping the kid thing is an extreme case. In that case, rape would have been the cause of pregnancy therefore a court order would be given and the father should be arrested.
And no, court orders should not be allowed for teens. As long as you are under 18, a parent’s consent is needed not matter what.
Qwerty, that is a very extreme case in which a court order could be given to allow the abortion to happen.
In my opinion, I think abortion should be illegal unless the mother was raped or the mother or babies life is in danger by the pregnancy. It’s not so much the issue of killing the baby that concerns me the most (although it does concern me), it is the fact that it is basically teaching irresponsibility. Basically you are telling people that they can have sex whenever they want without protection and if they get pregnant then can come to the clinic and have an abortion. Some liberals even want to use Federal money to pay for abortions, so basically they will be little to no cost to the woman.
Sex has already turned into a normal activity for people of all ages, including teens at the age of 13! Abortion only pushes the idea that you can have sex at younger ages. IMHO, if you are having sex you better be sure that you are ready for a baby or will put the baby up for adoption, otherwise keep your damned legs closed.
As far as notifying the parent, if my kid is living under my house or is 18 and under, I better damned be notified if they want to have an abortion. (Notice that I said if they WANT to have an abortion, not that they had an abortion.) Not notifying the parents is simply wrong, your teaching the kids to pretty much keep secrets from their parents.
I believe that this will seriously lower the morals of our society. They are already very low today, imagine then going down even further.
