Hi Gus,
Thank you for your very complete Lifestream tips. Since as you point out AIM is the client and AIM lifestream works fine for my facebook account I looked into twitter. It looks like everything is connected OK on the Twitter side Imageshack – 03102010171412.jpg – Uploaded by Imageshack user. I am able to enter something in my AIM What’s happening now and it’s seen on both twitter & facebook. I can enter something on twitter & it’s seen on AIM lifestream, I just can’t see anyone else’s tweets on my AIM lifestream, again I do see all facebooks but only my twitter noone else’s??
Any idea’s?
Thanks again,
SteveSteve1209ParticipantHi Dave/Doris,
Thanks for your responses. AIM starts, runs and the buddy list loads but when she tries to send a message it freezes and then stops responding completely. So it’s not an admin problem that I can see. Any other thoughts? She was able to install Trillian and that works perfectly, it just seems to be AIM?
Thanks for any help in advance,
Steve

SteveSteve1209ParticipantSteve1209ParticipantHi Shween,
I’m NOT trying to remove AIM, only the Task Bar entry (Not the ICON from they systray). That wouldn’t be in add/remove programs.
Sthanks,
SteveSteve1209ParticipantHey Ven0m,
Correct of course U R, I was thinking the mail was on the client side not the server side & I use GMAIL so I should have known better. When I used the program it was for a document & another time for a picture & it worked pretty well. Thanks for making the obvious correction which I totally missed!

Steve1209ParticipantHi ludie,
You might try this freeware program to recover it, it has helped me once or twice to recover things…. Recuva – Undelete, Unerase, File Recovery – Home
Try it, hope it helps you,
SteveSteve1209ParticipantHi Jeffire13,
When I saw your post, I have a very OLD screen name which I haven’t logged onto for at least 7 years now, guess what, I was still able to logon, I don’t think they ever recycle screen names, maybe they do but a screen name not being used for 7 years still being valid I’d think NOT!

What do you mean “My AIM”
Is that on the new version of AIM as well?In the latest version of AIM beta 6.9.2.27 you can do that also by going to EDIT then SCREEN NAME FORMAT
Steve
Steve1209ParticipantHi VvWolverinevV,
I’ve experienced problem #1 several times. It’s not always and it’s not often but I have to drag my aim buddy list box back down towards the bottom of the screen. Always after I come back from away, I usually leave an away message up, using latest aim 6.8 release & aim ad hack 5.56 windows XP pro & SP3+ installed!
