Rustedtight: you said>First you must sign on to Y! email application, then open the emails contained in the inbox, from there you should (if they are provided) be able to activate links to included URL’s that are included in the emails. Is this how YOU do it? Yes, but this has nothing to do with how i sign on, its about clicking on the Back Issue’s (link) to the Newsletter! Did you see the Back Issues links on the Newsletter and try to click on them and see what happens? After doing this i keep getting the Yahoo sign on screen!

No Problem, I understand what you are saying and you are right! I considered what Snugleupagainst said too! I know it’s not a Virus, but might have something to do with Yahoo and Attachments! I just want to make sure there is nothing wrong with this pc, i just bought it a short while ago, i still have my old one and the problem is on that pc too! I gave Yahoo Permission to go into my email (nothing important there anyway) to find out the problem and they seem to be stumped too. Do you think the Newsletter is delivering the Links in the wrong manner by mistake? Thanks TomtomsbbbMemberOk, Jeff, When you get the Newsletter, you will see all the links work except the one’s for the “Back Issues” and if you click on anyone of them you should (like i do) get the Yahoo Sign on Screen instead of the Link to the back issues! I forget what day they send the newsletter, Please let me know if you get the same thing, i am anxious to see if its just my pc doing this or if its Yahoo, because Spywareinfo said they could not figure it out either! Thanks, Tom
tomsbbbMemberRustedtight: You said quote>I would suggest that instead of seeking support (victims?) < I dont mind telling you i am very insulted by this remark. Sometimes when people are new at PC they may say or do something that is considered not right by some one with more experience( thru not knowing better) that does not give someone the right to automatically Assume that, that person has evil intent! You are a Moderator, and should realize this and cut that person some slack! Tom
tomsbbbMemberIf anyone wants to see first hand what i mean, go to http://www.spywareinfo.com and sign up for the weekly Newsletter and when you get the first one, try to click on one of the “Back Issues” and see if you get the Yahoo sign on screen or if it connects you to the back issue link? BTW, this happens with other Newsletters i get to. Maybe Yahoo is reading it as an Attachment or something?
tomsbbbMemberActually it is in my yahoo email and it is Spywareinfo.com if i try to click on a back issue Link, i keep getting the yahoo sign on screen but i dont want to put my password in because i thought it is odd that it keeps doing that, because i know i had just signed on just before this happens!
tomsbbbMemberZbig: Actually the website is “spywareinfo.com (i think) its there Newsletter and in the letter it has back issue Links and when i click on any back issue link, i get the yahoo sign on screen! Tom
tomsbbbMemberI found out what the tfswctrl.exe is and its only to do with cd burning by HP! So my original problem is, i can download the Yahoo messenger exe onto my desktop but it will not Install when clicked on! Anyone know why?
tomsbbbMemberYes, it says it is running but doesn’t say “downloading”! I think the only reason it states (its running) is because i am still on the download Page! But i am not sure! Also i dont know if this has anything to do with it but every time i shutdown my pc, i have to wait for this exe to close and i dont know what it is, or where it came from, this is it here>> tfswctrl.exe<< have you ever heard of this or know what it is, it is not on my other XP Home Edition, just this new one.
tomsbbbMemberIf you could do that, then what good would the Invisible Mode be???
tomsbbbMemberI have the same trouble from time to time, and it is Yahoo themselves, that are causing it, at certain times of the day i notice (around dinner time) or even during day on weekends Etc, this happens! They are the largest email service and serve alot of people! What i do, if it does not connect, is right click the greyed out face and sign out and exit, then i restart it, sometimes that helps. Today i could not get into my mail for a long time too! I guess we just have to be patient and keep trying.
tomsbbbMemberSOLVED! After two months, Yahoo could not figure out what to do, So all i did was Delete my friends name and reinstalled it and the yellow face came right back on again immediately. Must have been corrupted somehow! Anybody ever get this problem, Print this out for future reference
tomsbbbMemberAs i said in the original post>He does not have me blocked out and i am not on his ignore list or anything like that, we talk all the time pc to pc! I even set his computer myself and he is definitely not on Invisible Mode! I wish it were that simple! Any other idea’s Guys?
