Scroll down until you find “System Restore Service”, it’s status should say “Started”, and its startup type should be “Automatic”.If not, double click on it, change it’s startup type to automatic, then restart your PC, trying the restore again.
Everything was set normally and it didn’t work..Whats wrong?

MemberMartinBradley wrote:Hey,Can you give us a bit more information please, it’ll help us to better diagnose the problem. Firstly, i’m assuming you mean System Restore?
How far back are you trying to restore to? Have you tried restoring to a more recent date, and which Operating System are you using? Do you have any Service Packs installed?
Thanks 🙂

After installing Norton Internet Security, you would like to reset the password that you assigned for the Options menu.Solution:
Norton Internet Security includes the capability to reset your Options password using Windows Add/Remove Programs menu.To reset your password
- Exit all programs.
- Do one of the following:
- In Windows 98/2000, on the Windows taskbar, click Start > Settings > Control Panel, and then double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- In Windows Me, on the Windows taskbar, click Start > Settings > Control Panel, and then double-click Add/Remove Programs.
If you do not see the Add/Remove Programs icon, first click …view all Control Panel options.) - In Windows XP, on the Windows taskbar, click Start > Control Panel, and then double-click Add or Remove Programs.
If you do not see the Add/Remove Programs icon, then in the left pane, click Switch to Classic View.
- Click the entry for your version of Norton Internet Security.
You may need to use the scroll bar to view the entire list.
- Depending on your version of Windows, click Add/Remove, Change/Remove, or Change.
- Click Reset Password.
- Write down the key listed in the first “Reset Password Key” field.
- In the second “Reset Password Key” field, type the key that you wrote down in the previous step.
This key is randomly generated, and will change every time you attempt to reset your password for the Norton Internet Security Options menu.
- Choose a new password, and type it into the “New password” and “Confirm new password” fields.
- Click OK to confirm the password change.
It says that I need to be logged on as supervisor..but thats the problem..I cant log in because I forgot the password..:(

Its great but there are a lot of bugs..for example the buttons…no pictures just rectangles..and instead of sn’s buddy list at the top it says ‘s buddy list..no sn..
Good job though..keep up the great work…topramen422

1) A destructive installer that was being passed around before to trick people who wanted this software pirated.
2) A virus
3) An very early versionIn any case I can’t believe some people won’t pay 5$ for a year for something they are going to use everyday.
