MemberAlbum prices are skyrocketing and its not worth it if you want to try out a new band, to test what type of music they make.

MemberShadowdogMU wrote:Agreed. Just have iTunes running, pop in a CD, and it should appear in the source list (the list on the left). Then all you do is click that CD then press ‘import’. Then from there you can transfer to your iPod.Oh..in that case it is easy. The man at the store said that you have to buy some special software from them or you have to buy from Apple itself and you cannot copy from a cd to the iPod. Thanks all.

MemberAustin Moore wrote:Hey,I use AiMutaion, and I was wondering id IM Local would work with it?
IM Local does not work with any add-on. I never saw the point of IM Local, but if you’re interested, get rid of AIMutation.

Memberuser91c wrote:the problem with passwords is that they are easily crackable. i posted links to encryption because it is more secure than passwords. if you really want to add passwords to files you can read this page, which has a buch of stuff (found on google by typing password to files thumb drive): http://ask.metafilter.com/mefi/18826“A very simple solution is to use winzip’s built-in encryption… When you double click the folder you’ll be asked for a password. No fuss, no muss. When done, put the file back in there.”
I dont know how to install/use PGP and how much room does it take?

http://www.gnupg.org/(en)/download/index.html#auto-ref-1Well I didnt want to encrypt the files..What I wanted to do was to create a password so it prompts for that password if I or anyone else is trying to load or delete files onto it.
Is this possible?
Thanks for any help and the links!

you can delete the entries that arent being used (but be careful).also go to HKLM > Software > Microsoft > SharedTools > MSConfig > startupreg and remove any entries in there that aren’t being used, again being careful.

MemberTigerblade wrote:depends on how fast your processor is, too. if you have a slow processor, then there’s not much you can do to make it go faster. also, do as MartinBradley suggested and defragment your hd often. it could also depend on how much memory is free, and how much is bogged down running programs. if you have a lot of programs running at the same time, then the computer can be noticeably slower.
Windows Media Player.Thanks so much!

MemberTigerblade wrote:go into your Trillian Preferences. first go to the Plugins page to make sure that the plugins for the other networks are enabled. check the boxes for as many of the networks as you use (meaning if you dont use IRC, or Yahoo, or whatever, you dont need that plugin active.).
Then go to the Connections page and click “Add a new connection.” select the network you want to add a connection for, and go from there. it’s fairly self-explanatory and goes through the exact same steps you went through to set up your AIM account.Oh ok Thank you…I have another question..but thats a diff thread..its a completely different topic.

It only says preview for the outgoing sound that my buddies will hear, and that is grayed out..then there is a button that says “Set Expressions” I dont want an expression sound i want my own sound. I have done it before like I said, but it wont let me now. Im running on windows XP and a router if that has anything to do with it. Any help will do me well… Thank You.I dont know what sound you are talking about but to edit sounds:
My AIM > Edit Preferences > Buddy List >Sounds
My AIM > Edit Preferences > IM Chat Mobile > Sounds
My AIM > Edit Preferences > Expressions > IM Sounds or Buddy List Sounds
