MemberTigerblade wrote:ok, here’s anything i can think of that could possibly work:safely stop and remove the drive from your computer. (use the “Safely Remove Hardware” icon in the tray if you’re using XP) Turn off the computer, let it sit a minute, then turn it back on. Plug the drive back in the port. Try deleting the file now. If it still refuses, try possibly defragmenting your drive even if the program says it doesnt need it. You can try writing new files (save some .txt files from notepad with gibberish text) to the folder you’re trying to delete, then try deleting the whole folder again. (assuming you’re trying to delete an entire folder?)
I dont know if you’re trying to soft-delete (move to the Recycle Bin) or not, but you can also try hard-deleting the file/folder. Select the folder you want to remove, hold shift and press Delete. it will prompt you Do you really wanna delete this?? Yes/No. WARNING: YOU CANNOT UN-DELETE FILES YOU DELETE THIS WAY. see if any of that works…
the hard delete and the gibberish didnt work..im trying defragmenting and rebooting now…thanks

MemberTigerblade wrote:have you tried simply restarting your computer and trying again? this has happened to me as well, and when all else fails i try a restart and it magically works. i’m still not really sure why this happens, just a quick glitch in the system probably that makes it think there’s still something in there or being used.try restarting and see if it works… let us know if it works or not.
No…Didnt work…:(

MemberSomeguy03 wrote:Rusty, I doubt your keyboard stopped working because of THIS virus. I haven’t met anyone who had their keyboard screw up because of it besides you. I would do a virus scan and make sure you don’t have any other malicious files on your computer. Also, check behind your computer and make sure everything is plugged in..He says he has a laptop…How can you plug that in…?

MemberTigerblade wrote:do you have some kind of graphics software like Adobe Photoshop or anything like that? anything you can use to create graphics? otherwise i know there are several members here on the boards that are pretty good with graphic design, maybe if you ask nicely they might help you out…there’s also thousands of pictures online you could use. find one you like and crop it to fit the space
How do I change the ad though? Do I use some software that will change it for me?
