The driver was automatically detected.. It’s on the Compaq cd or whatever. so when I re-formatted it already recognized it. There are no updates. My brand of CD-RW isn’t on the Philips site. And yes I’ve tried 3 different brands of disk.

TropicalMemberBuddytracker has been around for awhile. People were asking if there was a way to know who views your profile WITHOUT clicking a link.

TropicalMembersounds like someone logged into your router and blocked AIM under your services. and blocked AIM.com under the filters.
TropicalMemberOr AIM lost your buddy list. It happens from time to time and it sets your buddy list to zero.. but it usually comes back after you restart AIM.. I can’t explain the sign-on blocking though.
TropicalMemberColleges connect every dorm to the internet. All of those connections! Hundreds of them. Thats the reason you are getting disconnected. There are so many requests going through the LAN lines.
TropicalMemberGo to My AIM > Edit Options > Edit Prefrences. Check the box that says “Hide taskbar button when buddy list is minimized”
TropicalMemberNo. its completely false. Pay no attention to it.
TropicalMemberHis computer is overheating. I just had this problem. My computer would shut off at random times. I would turn on my computer, sometimes it would stay on for hours, sometimes for minutes or seconds. I brought it in the computer shop and the guy had it on one of his shelves (in an open and cooled area) and he had it on for 5 days. He called us and said It was probably overheating. I bought a cooling fan for my computer case and it hasn’t shut down since.
