Memberit sucks big time and i cant get rid of the aol thing. when you try to change names it won’t connect. it gives none of the options like aim 5.9 does. it’s worthless.

Memberi’m not sure either but i have been told by friends on my contact list that i’m showing offline and msn asks them to put in a mobile number. i receive their messages and they receive mine.

Memberi can’t either. thought it was just me.

Membertry the newest version of aim and messenger mate.it’s not free but it’s the best add on i found. i’m glad i seen it spoken about here.

Memberi had the same problem. you have to do a clean install. remove msg plus and msn from your computer then reinstall. http://sniptools.com/tipstricks/uninstall-and-remove-msn-messenger

Memberwell your are the lucky one. i used gaim 1.5.0 and for some unknown reason it will connect to aim and icq but not msn or yahoo. i have tried for a week now and it refuses to connect.

Memberi’m having a problem with gaim 1.5.0. aim and icq connect but msn and yahoo will not connect. does anyone know what the problem could be or how to fix it?
xxDarkAngelxx
Memberconsider getting a new msn account.

Memberpersonally, i like messenger mate but it’s not free. i found no way to stop the away messages from coming up on linked names. it was a problem because there is more then one person here in the house that uses the computer and it got so confusing that we ended up just getting on aim through the website.

Memberi dont have aol email but i have aim email. if markking and i are on the wave length below would be an example of the header.
From:
AIM Member Message
To:
xxnancymariexx@aim.com
Cc:
Bcc: Subject: Free AIM Mail: It comes with 2GBs of storageDate: Thu, 29 Sep 2005 12:41:20 -0400 (EDT)
from is who sent it. and i think all email is sent out from the main account. so if your unknown messenger is on aol and don’t have a seperate email account set up then if you email him and he replys you will see the account name it was sent from. -
