MemberThanks for the help everyone, although the solution I found successful didn’t involve the method described. I uninstalled and then installed DeadAIM a few times (1st time same thing happened, 2nd it happened again, and then 3rd it worked O_o) and it started working again. Thanks a ton, I had fun learning about the different file sharing systems supported by windows XP :p
Zlink123
MemberWhat if I’m on XP home and I can’t disable simple file sharing? Doing the fixes listed about without being able to turn off simple file sharing appeared to have no affect.
Zlink123
MemberThe “Edit DeadAIM options” was in the menu, I had been using DeadAIM 4.x since it’s release. And, going back and changing all permissions for that folder to “allow all” did nothing. Any other ideas? The exact error I get is “Unable to save serial number information to registry. You must be logged in as an administrator to enter this information” and, before you all ask, yes my account _does_ have administrator privelages.
Zlink123
MemberAnyone have a way of reversing this process? After restarting my computer, the serial login window returned and because I did the fix I can no longer enter it. And yes, I performed the fix while I had Deadaim running and serialized. It also worked fine before I restarted my computer.

MemberThanks rustedtight, there’s definitely some nice resources there.

MemberWill someone post a link to this Testbuddy program, I’ve been having trouble finding it…you might want to wait for an OK from a mod first though, seeing as it is an “AIM employee” only program. (it is, right?)
Zlink123
MemberAwesome, thanks for the handy program someguy03.

MemberDoes this program really cancel the account? Or just give it a very incredibly long random password?

If you have a need for detailed information on a particular language then please note it here. Please note, Rustedtight, that immediately after the sentence you have quoted I said:

I don’t want to learn every langauge, as that statement might imply, but rather I want to learn of the different features that a programming language can have and how they work. Thanks for the comparison chart Jeff

MemberWhat exactly do you mean xTwAyCxHuRx? Ask what about your ‘crush’? If you mean a bot that will spy on a particular person of your likeing, I don’t think you’ll find anything of the sort….but you might try asking Microsoft or the US government, they seem to be pretty up to date on the invasion of privacy deal. Hollar if I’m misinterpretting your reply, please.

MemberxTwAyCxHuRx PLeaaaaassseee read all the posts before you post. I know that reading that whole half line of text that Lurking Biohazard posted is hard, but just give it a try. Ok?
Now that that is all over and done with, here are some links that I’d suggest for info about Ascii art and Ascii art itself.
Ascii Art Dictionary
The Great Ascii Art Library
ASCII art webring
Useful programs for ASCII art
The cuddly collection of ASCII art (although this appears small at first, the art is real good)
Assorted ASCII art links
Ascii art directory
Ascii art links
Huge ascii art directoryJust a small list to show that there really are a ton of sites out there. I went through a stint of ASCII art obsession, and found literally thousands of sites with ascii art.
And, of course, you can’t forget the alt.ascii-art.* newsgroups.
