Now, with the new AIM beta ( download latest beta here), you don’t even need to get one of the cloning softwares. AIM allows you to merge more than one screename into one client.
Of course, if you and your friend both want to be on a screename on the same computer, you’ll still have to use a third party software to clone AIM. But, for one person who has multiple screen names this is great.

Fimus, in order to change your password for AIM, you need to know your current password. They ask for it on the webpage where you change it.
Are you sure that you entered your real e-mail address into the AIM program? I had this problem, and since I’m paranoid and never like to put my real e-mail address, I could not get my password from AIM because they kept sending it to the wrong address. Or is this what you were clarifying when you said you haven’t changed your e-mail address? Or have you just not changed your active address?
I know this is a bit out of the way, but I just had a revelation. I requested my password for the account mentioned above because I was stupid, and thought the “you are trying to sign on too soon” error might have something to do with me using the wrong password. After a few weeks of this error, it changed to the “incorrect password” error during signon…I wonder if AIM sent an e-mail to the false address I had supplied which was really the address of someone else, and then they went on my screename and changed the password!! If this is what happened, boy do I feel like a dumbass!
So, I guess my point in mentioning this is, if you entered a false address don’t request your password!

Was this as much of a guess fest for everyone else as it was for me? Or am I the only one that has only heard of 2 of the 6 programming languages named?

No offense, but should these tips be for women who want to be conisdered whores? I realize that this is all in good fun (hence its location within the forum) but I really believe that this is the problem with modern day relationships, they have become jokes! No one takes relationship seriously anymore. People say they are in love when they have been together for all of 2 or 3 weeks, then they have sex, get bored with each other and find another person to fulfil their sexual needs. God dammit, exihbit some loyalty, find someone you really do love, stick with them, and don’t **** it up by cheating! Stop passing yourself around the block, no, the world, and find someone you want to spend the rest of your life with…before you’re dead!. *shakes off extreme rage*
Oh, so you mean with the Chat client supplied by BBB? Sorry, my mistake….sortof thought it was weird that Jeff wouldn’t know something as basic as that.
Jeff, just /whois them and check out their idle time. This is a pretty good method of telling if a person is present…or at least if they are willing to talk.
Have you been having any problems with webpages timeing out? Or any online gaming problem? Any connection problems in general? Also, could you have changed your password and forgotten? OR do any of your friends know your password?
