Yes, if you have a computer that is always on and connected to the internet, you can leave Viper running 24/7. You cannot run Viberbot off of an website though.

I am trying to get viperbot working on windows xp pro. problem is I have tried using the new and some old files found on the internet. shifter prehaps you can help me I need to get viperbot version 3.83.16d you tell me to download it but I cnat get it from anywhere HELP. I really need this as all my host including me are going away for a week and we want to leave a bots in our palce. please help I need it up and running by the end of the week

ok… firstly your directions are very clear so thank you for that.. 😀
my question is I get everything working but once I get viper bot into the room it says my securtiy settings are blocking activeX from being run, and the chat page doesnt load in viper..:S
your help is appreciated

hey shifter a big HI to you
i m having same problem in using viperbot I get connected to vgrabber to my chatroom and after puttting my chatroom url in viperbot n try to connect a magge come”sorry you are not authonicated to enter chat server” something like that
so please help me I have installed all the components for viperbot but m getting this problem so please HELP

Hi Shifter thanks for your great post I followed it to the letter and had no problems Great work:D I would also like to let everyone know that I found a site just like the old MSN chat rooms alot of the old rooms are starting up here http://www.oasiz.com/ all you need to do is register at the site and away you go it is all free you can even make your own rooms like the good old days on msn. anyway thanks again shifter keep up the great work:D

ok here is what i’m running into , i wanted to look for a bot program to use in my group chatrooms and i came across viperbot and heard it was one of the best to use and so i downloaded everything for the viper bot but i can’t seem to get it to grab my info for msn and everytime i try to join my group chatroom it will not stay on the msn group page , it will keep sending me to the error webpage and then since i couldn’t get viperbot to work i tried to find other bot programs to work and well i guess i’m not worthy to have a bot program work right for me because no matter what i do nothing works for me as if i’m jinxed somehow , well if anyone can give me some insights on what i’m doing wrong with atleast one of my bots programs maybe i can finally be satisfied

How to use Viperbot in your MSN Communities Group Chatroom

Get the right files in the right places:
1. Download Viperbot 3.83.17 and install. (but do not run yet, restart shouldn’t be necessary).
2. Download and install VGrabber.
3. Download MSN Chat vocxx and install.
4. Download the Database Editor and install.
5. Download the Vbot Database and install.
6. Download the Database Updater and run to update.
7. Download the MSNConnectionVProxy DLL and install
8. Download the ChatHTML TXT and install.
