I wasen’t aware that Middle_man was a free time project. If I would have known that, I wouldn’t have been so rude about the fact of another release. Please accept my apologie, I would just like to see middle_man come out with another release. If it weren’t for the DeadAIM exploit going around I would be using it, but that’s not the case.
That’s what I thought. I really wish they would kick it in the ass and get another release out. I mean with Otsego out and DeadAIM 4.5 working almost flawlessly with the new AIM, Middle man seems to be a couple of steps behind.

Jknee, If you’d like I could give you my hacked version of AIM. The aimres.dll I have is version 3591 but works with any of the 5.5 AIMs. Give me an IM and i’ll give you an SS and we’ll take it from there.

Dude tigerblade. Is my post not clear? I posted a link to the program called smilez. It gives you 2 things. Tabbed IMs and all the AOL smilys. You dont have to enable the smilys, just the tabbed IMs. =

You want a aimres.dll of the new AIM? If so, sure. Just IM on AIM, i’ll be happy to give you my custom aimres.dll. Hell, i’ll even give you a custom buddyui.ocm if ya want. Heh, about the reshack thing, i’m a fast learner when it comes to figuring things out. Modifying AIM is easy. 😉
There is a DeadAIM exploit that works on all versions of DeadAIM. AOL won’t be patching that. As of right now, there is no solution to this problem. The only solution that I can give is that you don’t use DeadAIM. There’s plenty of other AIM add-ons and hacked aimres.dlls to be used.
I have the new AIM because I found it to be easier to reshack than the older versions. It has a cleaner interface (to me anyways). I grew tired of seeing those 3 coins, it made AIM look all crowded. Besides the invisable mode AIM hasen’t really changed. So, I really couldn’t give you a decent reason why I upgraded. Just did. :
Middle man dosen’t have the feature of tabbed IMs. The program ‘smilez’ has this ability and can be found here.
Don’t worry its not bad. It’s just an AIM add-on by the name of middle-man. There’s an option in the add-on menu that advertises in your profile. DeadAIM also has this option. Do you have other people that use AIM in your house? If so, they probably downloaded the program. You can pick up the add-on here. On another note they fixed a bug that caused direct connection problems.
