Of course it will show up if you ever make any changes there again, but you can always just do the same again!
(Because if you don’t put a check in the box, the message will appear everytime you start your computer)
Hope this helps! 🙂 And glad you solved your problem.
Yeah… can you tell i’m not great with computers!? Thanks a lot

ok i did that and i found a Motive SB which i assume is the same thing, i unticked it restarted and now i get this…which i dont really understand so wondered if anyone could help with that.
(the original problem has gone away)

Also, when i go to the uninstall program list, IE isn’t there… would it be under a different name or would i just have to search for it in my folders?
(sorry for being a pain!)
confused_amandaMemberi downloaded IE7 and whenever i start up my computer i get this message…
I don’t think that it can be anything else as that was the only thing i did differently that day. Can any one help or know what it means as it’s kind of annoying?!
confused_amandaMemberI ran the microsoft software, but it still didn’t work.
When i press ctrl-alt-del and view the applications, as well as internet explorer there is an item called ‘prjMensagem’ which i havn’t seen before. I deleted it from the tasks and everything seems to be ok, but then when i restart my computer again it appears still. How would i go about getting rid of this?
confused_amandaMemberJust after i ran my computer in safe mode and ran the adaware etc. i restarted to my normal mode. After deleting the items a pop up from www 888 com (i left out the ‘.’ in it just incase someone clicksa on the link and gets the same problem) came up! What do you think is my next step to eliminate these things?
confused_amandaMemberthat option isn’t ticked…i tried ticking and unticking it again and restoring those options to default wth no luck. Any other suggestions?
confused_amandaMemberI live in the UK and I was brought up around Pakistanis and many other cultures all my life…my opinion certainly hasn’t changed sinced 9/11. It’s the individual person that people should be making opinions on…you can’t generalize a whole race!
I think it’s people’s ignorance that is causing this dislike, but hopefully the fuss will go down once people actually know the facts about what has been happening around the world.
confused_amandaMemberI’ve just done this for my desktop items, but is there anyway of renaming the ‘recycle bin’ coz it loks a bit weird with it being the only item with a name underneath it!
confused_amandaMemberJust a suggestoin but I would smudge over those email addresses that you can see on your screen shot…you don’t know who reads these boards!
confused_amandaMemberAs I have never made a 3D image like ures, (not that I have the expertise and knowledge to do so) how long does it take you to do a complete image?
confused_amandaMemberThe problem with the ‘main links’ has now gone as I ran the adware. But I still need help with the taskbar. Is there a place where the toolbars is kept on the compuer, as maybe I can delete or edit them from there?
confused_amandaMemberIv’e just looked in my add/remove programs menu, and it has ‘Uninstall 180Search Assistant’ Do you think that this has anything to do with it, or is it an essential program that comes as standard that everybody has?
Screen shot of problem (i dont know if this is the right way to post a screen shot, if it’s not let me know and i’ll change it)
confused_amandaMemberI can make a screen shot but I don’t know how to add it to a reply on this forum. If you know how, please let me know so that I can post the screen shot here to make my descripion clearer.
Also, along where the ‘File, edit, view, favourites, tools, help’ buttons at the top of the screen, there seems to be an extra one added at the same time called ‘main links.’ When that new option is clicked, the items ‘Music: Unlimited muisc and DVD dowlouds’ ‘Health: feel better than ever!’ and ‘Auto: Dirve a new car and CASH IN!’ are there. Next to those options, there are picutres that go with them, like a car and a CD. I found a file that was created the time when this problem occured and it has the locations of those pictures in it. The file name is WindowsSA and icludes two .dll files and a .khtml file an applicaton file and a few small pictures. I don’t know if this has anything to do with the taskbar. It may be a completely different problem.
Twizted, how do I run adware?
confused_amandaMemberTo shut down I just go to:
Start > Turn off the computer > Turn off -
