AIM sucks.
AIM with DeadAIM is OK to use.
MSN Is great.
MSN with Messenger Plus! is sweet.
Conclusion: Too many n00bies on AOL.
Solution: change to Broadband.
Not for me. thats only if you drag the icon from the start menu to the desktop. It’s better practice to copy it to the desktop, not drag.
I don’t think you can because this is MSN messenger, not Windows messenger. Outlook uses Windows messenger.
I was on the other end of this (MSN 4.7).
I’ve got a LinkSys router, but I’m the DMZ, and we had NO problem after I used MSN6.
That doesn’t always work.

START > SETTINGS > CONTROL PANEL > ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS > MSN 6.0

You have to sign off, then back in to refresh your profile. (that is if you edit the info.htm while your signed in)

No, I’m an XP User, I think it is good, and it is easier on my eyes, but there is no freaking way anyone cal call Win98 crap.
Those that do are just ones that don’t know what the hell they are doing. (hehe, they use system-restore evert other day too, LOL)

I’m not calling you a newbie, you are correct that 98 has a bit less ecurity than 2000/XP/2003, but it is not yet outdated.But, all this is comeing from a guy that’s used almost every Windows OS, and knows what he’s doing. (I never ran NT 3.51 though 🙁 ). So my opinions will be different.
