Didn’t know about that but thx for pointing that out. I don’t use aim links anyway so it won’t effect me. The other method still has problems with links since links only affect the most recently opened aim.
Umm the contents of the article lol. I was mainly adressing the 5.06 thing. Small version updates are still expected but I dont know if we’ll see more features from say a 6.0 version.
From the sound of it Winamp will still get small updates and bugfixes, but I dont think we’ll see any new major development. They might get a new team together but it’ll go to crap and people will stop using it.
I havent used it but Ive seen it on a few major sites. I assume its legit otherwise they wouldnt have posted it.
It looks like its just the standard sounds. Did you mean that they hear a custom sound? And did you install an expression?

Yeah your files aren’t actually going across your internet connection. Only your home network.
Thanks Jon8RFC. That works much better. No need to make a bunch of copies of the aim.exe. I suggest you guys use Jon’s method.
I have Firefox set as my default browser and links open in that. Try making Yahoo DSL browser the default.

This is a patch not loader. Works on latest build.
Try the instructions here. I duno if it will work for newer builds but its worth a try. I havent seen any polygamy patches for aim lately. You could use middle_man to do it though.
dragonreborn: oh I see. I never really used the smilies much. but before when you sent a smiley, the aim user wouldn’t get the aim version of it?
