i dont know what “uccom chat banner” is, but chat rooms made on aol can be moderated so maybe a user did it.
f0rbezMemberThere never were commands for DeadAIM. middle_man, otsego, and maybe palfun are the only ones I know of that have commands.
f0rbezMemberCool stuff TallLion. I don’t use ICQ but I might give it a try just to see what this new versions like.
Btw, heres the beta homepage. ICQ 5 Beta
f0rbezMemberRight off the top of my head, one free audio editor that I’ve heard about is Audacity. I’ve never used it so I don’t know if its what your looking for. But its free and open-source so you could give it a try.
f0rbezMemberI’ve seen it use 20-30 mb of memory. But 88mb is insane. It might be due to you having alot of IM’s and chats open.
f0rbezMemberI prefer Mess Patch 7.0.0425 as an easy all-in-one patch. Just look on that site for the mess patch.
f0rbezMemberdisable your firewall and try downloading
f0rbezMemberive been having that icon loading as my icon as well.
f0rbezMemberI like FlashFXP and SmartFTP, both for windows. I haven’t used SmartFTP for a few years back when it was free but I assume its still as good.
Theres also the open source FileZilla if you need something for free. It’s decent but not as good as FlashFXP and SmartFTP in my opinion.
I’d stay away from CuteFTP. I used to use that years ago and it wasn’t good.
f0rbezMemberI have one in my old PS and managed to get it soldered in without damaging the board too much. If you dont have any experience soldering and don’t feel like taking a chance, then one of those swap disk thingies is what you want. They’re a pain in the ass but if you only need it for a few games then you should be ok.
If your willing to try to open it and solder in a chip then thats the way to go.
By the way, theyve worked good for me in the past. If you get one made by a good company you can even flash it with updated firmware. I suggest DMS4 or Matrix for a solder-in chip.
Its also important that the modchip you choose supports your model PS2 or else it wont work.
f0rbezMemberI prefer winamp. Ive been using it forever so the interface isnt hard to navigate and I know where everything is. iTunes is kind of bloated for a media player in my opinion. It would use about 30 mb while just sitting there.
Also, shoutcast is a big plus for winamp. There arent many iTunes stations. Winamp also has a huge amount of skins and plugins.
f0rbezMemberMy Review 😉 Hope you like…
This album isn’t worth the drive to the store.
I don’t know whats worse: Eminem’s whiney childlike voice and repetitive lyrics (also childlike), or his production of the album. Does he honestly think hes a good producer? His beats are horrible. “My 1st Single” is probably the single most annoying beat I’ve ever heard. And thats only the beat, I’m not even taking into consideration how annoying his lyrics on that track are. Mainly because I couldn’t make it through the first 20 seconds without shutting it off. But now that I’m relistening to the entire track, I have to say that the lyrics do fit the beat nicely. They both demonstrate the epitome of bad music.
Its a shame that most of the good tracks didn’t make the final album, although CD2 does have a few of the better ones. Its not a good sign when the 3 track bonus CD contains more talent then the entire main album.
Eminem needs to go back to the style of Slim Shady LP, where his raps were either goofy and comical, or extremely angry and violent. Theres a fine line between goofy and comical, and whiney and annoying. He’s definately crossed this line with the past few albums. His style is now almost monotone and repetitive.
Whats strange is Eminem’s passion for making fun of popstars, boy bands, ect. when Em himself is the definition of popstar. Whos single is always number one on TRL? And thats not by accident. The singles he chooses are exclusively made to sound poppy and get the attention of teeny boppers and others that he knows will make up the bulk of the album purchases.
I do have to say that Eminem did produce one good beat on the album. That was “Mockingbird”. But overall, he just needs to leave the producing the the producers. And maybe the rapping too…
Conclusion: If your older than 15 and have stopped watching shows such as Southpark or TRL, DONT buy this album.
f0rbezMemberf0rbezMemberQuote:quote:Edit: I played around a bit trying to get this to work. Firefox is set as default browser, IE is NOT set to check if it the default browser. Still didn’t work, so I went into set program access and defaults (XP Pro) and set Firefox as default and unchecked the option “allow access to this program” for IE. Email button in Firefox is still opening up IE, any email links (mailto:[email protected]) and yahoo messenger also open yahoo mail in IE. But if I view profiles or click on any links through messenger, it opens firefox. Anyy other suggestions?I’m almost positive that its because you have the yahoo mail extension installed. Usually comes packaged with yahoo messenger and redirects all mail links to yahoo mail. The extension is whats forcing IE. You could just uninstall it and place a bookmark on your Firefox toolbar pointed to “https://login.yahoo.com/config/login?.src=ym”
Or use that yahoo toolbar extension for firefox, that should have some kind of yahoo mail support.
