PhilipModeratorHappy New Year to everyone…sorry this is belated. My MVP has been renewed for 2011 (don’t ask me how 😮 but it has) Hopefully my big D will happen this year, otherwise I’m just about ready to jump over the cliff!

PhilipModeratorHi guys, I wanted this to be a surprise…I’m now on American soil! I arrived yesterday, and to cut a long story short I’m in Tucson, Arizona with someone whom I love and care for very much. So there 😀 Will be here till November 2.
PhilipModeratorYup, I remember college life alright…taking 21 units and working in one of the university cafetarias at the same time. Wouldn’t mind doing it again :p
All the best, MrOats. Drop us a line here whenever you have time.
PhilipModeratorThanks, MrOats. Visit my blog to see all the gory details of my day 🙂

PhilipModeratorHi, and welcome to BBB. For your first problem in WLM go to Tools > Options > Connection and click on Advanced settings on the right. Under Connection Settings, uncheck “Save a log of my server connections…”
As for your webcam problem, there could be a number of reasons as to why you can’t establish the video call. Does this problem occur only with a particular contact or more? Which versions of WLM are both of you on? I’ve found that sometimes the latest version of WLM (Build 15) doesn’t play well with an older version when it comes to video calls. When you did your audio and vid setup was everything working?
Sorry for all the questions, but it would help in tracking down for a solution. And remember that sometimes the fault is at the server end, not yours.
PhilipModeratorHello there, Ving. Welcome to BBB. Feel free to browse around, we’ve got something for everyone here.
PhilipModeratorTry reinstalling Vista again-don’t reformat or anything like that. Just put in the Vista disc, boot from it and reinstall.
PhilipModeratorLog in to your Windows Live and choose Windows Live Options. When the page refreshes choose Privacy on the left. Choose the Private radio button and adjust the sliders accordingly.
PhilipModeratorYeah, don’t be like us, or me, with arses glued staring at the computer LOL
