I think that the people that blocked you are just telling you that as an excuse; that it was an accident, to be polite. As Fancy said, if they blocked you, they don’t want to talk to you. They will most likely see continuing to contact them with other accounts as harassment regardless of your good intentions.
Ithaca1937MemberI never thought about Googling My forum name. When I googled Ithaca1937 it came up with about 497 results. I checked and they are all mine, almost all of the results are from here.
Ithaca1937MemberI also agree with Slapshot. If you badly want to sign on to AIM you could give TerraIM 1.0 a try. It’s a stand alone program, you could use that until you get the AIM client working again.
Ithaca1937MemberI just tried it and the results that I got was that, the create a profile view in AIM allows you to add more then 1024 characters, but when I viewed my profile it was truncated to 1024 characters.
Ithaca1937MemberOtsego gives you the option to remove the separator between your away message and your profile.
Ithaca1937MemberI agree with Gossipingrae. Worship shouldn’t be an option. Woreship is the option to use when you start heading down the wrong path, not once you find the trouble at the end of it.
Ithaca1937MemberUntil the spoiler tag works you could use Rusty’s Suggestion but use the color #F2F2F2 in the color tag.
Example:
This text as an exampleIthaca1937MemberI tried it by sending a file from my one computer to my other one. The results I got were that the file path of the file the sender is sending will appear in both the “sendername wants to send file” and the “receivername received” of their IM window. The receiver will see the file path that they choose to save the file too in both the “sendername wants to send file” and the “receivername receivedof their IM window”.
To put it simpler, the sender only sees the path of the file they are sending and the receiver only sees the path to where they are saving the file. That’s the results that I got, that one can not see the others file path.

My own personal warped view of thing makes me say war is always just. People judge things according to their own unique standards and morals. If you are willing to fight for what you believe in, stand up for your morality, and not waver in your conviction to do what you judge to be righteous; haven’t you already proved that the actions you may take or have taken, you already deem to be just and honorable in your efforts to succeed in your cause? I watch a lot of the court shows but some of the cases still amaze me in what people think is morally just in their treatment of others and what they believe is owed them.I don’t believe all wars can be avoided with words. I’ve always liked the quote “actions speak loader than words”. You can talk all day long but until something is done, nothing will get accomplished. Once the talking is done you have to be true and honest to your words, because all the talking about peace means little if the fighting doesn’t stop.

On the subject of abortion I’m for the right of women to make the choice themselves if abortion is the right decision for them. The problem I have is that would be teen mothers will get pregnant and say “I’m not sure about this one, I’ll just abort it” like an F-16 landing on an aircraft carrier and then circle around to do it again. I don’t like the idea of “I’ll just put it up for adoption, and have some other poor fool pay for it”. It’s not just the family that takes in the abandoned child that pays for the welfare of that child. At least if your in the United States it is me, my family, your family, your neighbors, their families, even you and every other hard working individual that pays their taxes. If it way the sole responsibility of the adopter to feed, shelter, and provide clothes, I’d have less of a problem with adoption. Since I wasn’t evolved in the decision of if you should have sex, why should I have to pay for your mistake? Foster parents get tax deductions as well as other benefits from the government for taking in children; they wouldn’t if they had conceived that child themselves. As for people that want to adopt, the supply is far greater than the demand. The ideology seem to be that somebody will want them, the problem being it’s not everybody, but closer to nobody. As for making a law, I’d make it legal. I’d much rather see a law that had people watching the welfare of their own house before prying into the affairs of my home. I had a guidance counselor that would tell my mother how raise to me as to improve my performance in school; years later he was in the same electronics class as I. We were soldering that day and he decided to take a pair of diagonal cutters, clamp them on the wire to his soldering iron and squeeze, as you can guess big spark and resetting of the circuit breakers. The best part is that a year later he called a bomb treat in to the school; his mother should have been keeping an eye on her own child instead of telling others how to raise theirs.

With the culling of animals I draw the line at humans. That doesn’t mean I’ll eat any animal as I’m a very picky eater, but if you want to eat it then go ahead. You like Bacon me too, John Spartan thought rat was okay so I’ll give it a try, you like Calamari well more for you. No one is forcing you to eat what you don’t like, I see it as “if you don’t like it, then don’t eat it”. If you don’t like the radio station you don’t burn it down, you change to a different one; you don’t like a meat diet, change to a vegetarian one.The one thing I almost always hear from a vegetarian or vegan is the way the animals are treated. Most of those animals are treated better than some people. They get food, water and, shelter more than can be said about a homeless man living under a park bench. Big healthy cows bring in more money, there’s more meat and it’s leaner. The way in which the animals are put down I don’t see as being cruel. They aren’t beaten to death with a baseball bat or a two by four with a nail in it, or run over by a truck. That takes too much time and destroys the meat. They want to make money and to do that they work fast. There is no time to wait for an animal to die a slow and painful death. If the only thing keeping some people from eating meat was the supposed poor treatment, would they eat my cat, she gets treated like a queen.

Homosexuality doesn’t really bother me. I don’t think that it is a disease, or even really a genetic thing. I think of it as a life style choice. Different people like different colors, different music, and different food. I don’t see why not different sexual preferences. Although homosexuality isn’t for me, I don’t have a problem with other people doing it. In fact I think the more people that decided not to contribute to the gene people the better. I’ve never heard of a homosexual couple accidentally getting pregnant, unlike their heterosexual friends.I also don’t believe that there should be a difference in the age of consent based upon sexual preference. Here in Pennsylvania the age of consent is 16 for male/female, male/male, and female/female; according to this web site.
http://www.ageofconsent.com/pennsylvania.htmThe web site also has the age of consent for many places around the world, here’s the page with the list.

At first when hear some of it I was a little skeptical but after listening to the whole album I love the whole thing. I have there first album “System of a Down” as well as Toxicity, Steal This Album!, and since 21:30 on May 16, Mezmerize.
I think their is a bigger difference in the first album, “System of a Down”, and their second, Toxicity, than between Mezmerize and Steal This Album. At least to me it seems that the last three albums are more refined then the first. The first had that low deep screaming type stuff in it and kind of leaned a little toward bashing the instruments. I also think they have become more forward with the messages in their songs, to me some of the songs on the first album left me with the feeling “what was that about”? The lyrics are a lot more sexually orientated on this latest album, the first one favored the phrase “Mother F—-r” more, And I quote Suite-Pee from the first album “…die, Like a M
F
, die, like a M
F
, die, like a M
F
, why, like a M
F
, I want to F— my way to the garden, cause everyone needs a mother, F
!…”In my opinion the first one was kind of wobbly start, and I don’t listen to it much. But I don’t think SoaD has gone the way of Metallica by selling out their fans and just being in it for the money. I’m positively getting the next album when it comes out and am looking forward to more stuff from them.
May 20, 2005 at 3:49 pm in reply to: The critics make it official – Star Wars Episode 3 Is Excellent #121621Ithaca1937MemberI’ve been more of a Star Trek series fan (except Deep Space Nine) and I don’t plan on seeing Star Wars Episode 3 it until it comes out on DVD. Then I’ll watch the whole series in order.
Ithaca1937MemberYou can put a hidden link in your profile using the F2 thing. You just open the HTML file that is your profile. On Windows Xp it’s “C:documents and settings‘your XP logon name’Application DataAim‘your AIM screen name’info.htm”
Then you can edit the file and put a link in there like this as an example
The link will be the Url of the web site. When you sign on you will need to hit F2 too see the link and it will be clickable.
The way it doesn’t work if if you wrap it in a tag as in this example
<!–Click me –>
I want to include that little thing that shows who’s looked at your profile, but I don’t want other people to be able to see it.
The F2 trick explained above won’t work for that. The link isn’t clickable unless you press F2, making it visible.
Those things to see who looked at your profile work by logging the persons screen name that clicked the link. They have to click the link for it to work, even if you had an invisible clickable link they would have to randomly click around in your profile just to hit it and log their visit.

Ithaca1937MemberMaybe the keyboard died. I have an old Compaq Armada 4120 that most of the keys stopped working and the battery only last 15 – 20 min. Now it’s a semi-portable desktop computer that stays pluged into the wall and has a standerd desktop keyboard pluged into it.
Ithaca1937MemberYou should try having her use the search feature on her computer to look for that file. Have it search in all files and folders, and in the options make sure that it checks system folders, hidden files and folders, and sub folders.
Ithaca1937MemberYou might want to try the forgot password link and request your password to make sure someone didn’t guess it and kick you off it.
