I think the problem lies with the receiver.I mean the receiver is allowed to get first three SMS and if and only if he/she replies to one of the msgs then u r allowed to send further SMS.I think yahoo has done this so that Mobile operators can earn a little bit more ;). So if the receiver haven’t replied to any of ur msgs its not possible for you to send any more msgs.
I personally tried this and now i am able to send SMS to guyz who reply to my msgs.
Hi Deep, I had faced the same problem at my school also.When u r behind a firewall u will have weird problems with yahoo.U will b online but u wont receive any msgs.U will get all msgs at once.Its because ur yahoo messenger is not alive ie it wont send packets every time and u’ll get disconnected from the network(UR LAN).Even if ur in invisible mode u wud be shown visible and all other bull **** when ur behind a firewall.The best way is to try web based messengers or messengers like TRILLIAN,ODIGO or MIRINDA and other IM softwares.I jus use the same dump messenger by refreshing the mesenger very often.Jus tell me if u have got ne new ideas.So that it wud helpful for me.
I have a question b4 u. I am using Yahoo in my school. The problem i am facing is that the messenger gets disconnected automatically and sometimes my IM’s are not reaching the other end. Is there any option to keep the connection alive in Yahoo messenger ie to keep on sending packets.
The same thing happens to me.I tried to switch to invisible mode but my friends see me online even i tried to change the status but hardly see ne changes.Is that a problem with yahoo.
I jus went and asked to my heldesk (administrtor) it seems that they allow using IM softwares. But still there exists some problems.I even tried beta version of web messenger but its a big headache running that.I m jus lookin for easy and fun to use web messenger that supports yahoo.TO my surprise i tried ICQ lite and web messenger but havent faced any problems like the Yahoo.So it might doesnt concern with Firewall i suppose.Do u have any sugegstions for that.
I jus tried both the links i get the error message ” An Exception of type ‘java/lang/Illegal/ThreadStateException’ Was not Handled’ Would you like to debug the application?”
