I did eventually find it, but its in a different location in Vista (as is everything now)
C:UsersUSERNAMEAppDataRoamingAVG7Seriously, I tried to find Add/remove programs… Its not there! Its under “Programs” now. How annoying. I have to scroll down now to get to it :p. I liked it better when it was the 2nd/3rd from the beginning.

as for AVG… I just did a reboot and same problem. I’m using version 7.5.472
I, personally, had an account that had my first and last name as the username. I just left it, but is there a way to get rid of it? my parents don’t like my last name being on any forums… if you know what I mean.
ok, here is another question… can you change how you see your contacts?
ex: can I change my mom’s name from her first and last name to just “mom”?*sigh* this is what I get for not reading the error properly.
looking closely at the origional error, it says “Hardware acceleration maybe disabled”
duh. I just enabled it and it workedfor others, this is how I enabled it:
right click on the desktop->properties->settings->advanced->troubleshoot
move the bar to the left.Why didn’t Windows Troubleshooter tell me this?

well… the reason I use both Google talk and Gmail notifier, is because I have 2 gmail accounts… I really didn’t want to take the time to figure out how to get google talk to tell me if I have mail in either of the accounts… hey, theres another question 4 u 😀
