MemberQuote:quote:Originally posted by DavidMy minimum recommendations:
Pentium 4 at 2.8Ghz or higher (NOT A CELERON)
512MB or DDR SDRAM or more
80GB ATA hard disk (Serial-ATA recommended)
Windows XP Professional (Home is crap, just go for Pro)You should go for a Dimension 4600 because the 2400 only has Celeron CPUs as options

MemberYour friend could have been disconnected while they were idle, then AIM reconnected them. Their idle time that is shown is how long they’ve actually been idle. The online time is how long their SN has been on since AIM reconnected.

MemberBetter just to stick with a previous version such as 5.5 (with a modified aimres.dll to remove the ads and junk) or 5.2 with DeadAIM 3.2. I’d also rather use Trillian or GAIM, I’m not that into the new features anyways. You can always just download expressions from other sites like AIM X press

MemberI’ve been using Comcast for almost four years and have had little to no problems. I’d recommend comcast. Almost everyone I know uses it.
