MemberI think they call it “beta” for a reason (and I do consider the public releases to be beta as well).

I thought I’d add that AIM Triton says “Invalid Screen Name or Password. Please try again” for both existing and non-existing screen names.

MemberIs this thread supposed to be taken seriously? Honestly. It’s funny that you’ll find someone on here giving away a screen name such as SaraLuvzJon2004. As if a Sara who loves a Jon will be around anytime soon to claim it. And even if that happened, would “2004” go with it?

Here are the status icons. Guess which one is idle. Guess which is idle+away.

MemberI myself use the AOL sound instead of AIM’s annoying IM sound. Maybe AIM Triton will change this. The AOL sound is a much friendlier sound than the AIM IM sound.

I tried the methods specified in earlier topics but rather than work, they made the settings menu inaccessible.I disabled the ads with the previous version and it automatically carried over with this version. Don’t know how though. There is no actual “disable ads” radio button, but none of the other two are selected and I’d rather not find out what happens if I do select them.

MemberWorks in 0.2.12 as well.

MemberAIM 6.0 will come out… when it comes out.
You can’t really get an exact date on the release of something that is still in Beta. It will be released when the developers think it’s ready to be released. It’s just the same as asking when someone’s baby will be born. Sure, there’s a due date, but that’s not always accurate.
If you are anxiously awaiting the final release, I suggest you test the beta and submit some bugs and suggestions. The link is in an above post.

MemberThis too is happening to me. Although it doesn’t get rid of my away message. It just reconnects right away. Of course people might say we shouldn’t complain being that it’s a free service, but I’m pretty sure we end up paying for it one way or another. Through ads and anything else that supports AOL and vice versa.

MemberSorry, but I’m going to need a more coherent answer. Perhaps I should be more specific which I already thought I was. But here goes:
In an AIM Instant Message, my screen name is the color red and the font Times New Roman. I would much rather have it be green and Arial. Not really digging the Times New Roman.
I know this is possible with ResHacker, but any results found on Google only show people who have done it and has not said how they pulled it off.
Blargh. Message boards should use Google style search methods as this question had to have been answered here before.

MemberBefore they were added to AOL, it was said that there’d be a Ben Stiller SuperBuddy Icon coming sometime in the future.
