I’m kind of having the same problem, my Yahoo will not connect…i’m running the Beta for Mac. I’m on a mac, running leopard. It’s really strange because I can log in under my email(yahoo) so I know my password and username hasn’t been messed with…and I can sign into Yahoo Messenger w/my other name…just not the one i’m trying to get into…it’s really weird.
So I contacted yahoo, and they replied back to me and said basically they couldn’t help me with my problem because the messenger was a Beta version, So I went and downloaded the previous version of the Mac version before the beta. I didn’t like it so I reinstalled the beta version. So I guess i’m stuck with not being able to get on my old name for awhile until they get a newer version out or get thie issue fixed. This sucks.

another thing i noticed is that when i cannot sign onto my one name here on my mac. I can sign into it on my pc which is running vista. I cannot figure it out…its really bugging me…
Is anyone else having issues w/yahoo chat I cannot get into a room at all. I keep getting this prompt that says “yahoo chat took longer than expected please try again later”
