Did all of you buddies get deleted off the buddy list? If they didn’t get deleted, only thing you have to do is sign back on to AIM and your buddies should be there.

I got that message from about 6 of my friends today. The first time was from one of my friends that was idle and away so I knew something was up because he doesn’t have any kind of add-on. So I didn’t even bother clicking on it.
When a window pops-up asking you to download something, does it automatically say yes? I sure hope not because there are quite a few sites that use those pop-ups and it puts adware on your computer.
If you don’t use add-ons, then you should just upgrade. If you do use add-ons, stick with 5.2 for now until some of them are compatible with 5.5.
Once you get a lot of them, throw them all in somebody’s yard. That’s what me and my friends do with them.
Whoa Jeff said a bad word. LOL. Why do people have to keep on posting about how they think it’s a hoax? If you think that, that’s fine. But it doesn’t take somebody to post saying that every few days. Also, a lot of people seem to think that FIXER wasted everyone’s time. He didn’t waste anyone’s time. Those of you that were on all day and night on the 31st wasted your time. If it was released that day, you could have just gotten it the next day.
I don’t think tjclancy will be responding to this. It’s from last September. The guy that was going to release XMODS(BlueIM) is going to be releasing a guide to tell people exactly how to make add-ons to AIM in a month. He was fired from AIMThings.com so he decided not to go through with releasing XMODS(BlueIM).
It’s called aliasing. If you have an add-on that can do that, right click on someone’s screen name and click on “rename” and that should do it.
