I’m not sure I understand what you mean. I have to join Meebo, or I can log onto my Yahoo IM and still find the AIM/AOL person’s profile? Also, (sorry for another dumb statement, lol) Meebo is safe? Like it’s not going to steal my password or anything? It’s a legit site?
Thanks in advance again!
Mac_BlueMemberI suggest you start a brandnew Yahoo account, transfer all your friends to the new account (Or give them nofication again) and then that guy won’t ever bother you again.
If you can find his IP address, report him! He is harressing you!
Mac_BlueMemberJust make yourself visible to your wife. Put everybody else on “offline” perminately, then you and your wife can have tons of fun!
Mac_BlueMemberStupid comment/question here…
I don’t like major changes, so if possible UnsakreD+, could you let me know what you like/dislike about the new beta version on Yahoo? I like my Yahoo mail the way it is, so I’m hoping they haven’t completely changed it, or made it look like Gmail.
Mac_BlueMemberStupid question here…lol…
So if you use buddyspy, and find out a certain person IS online, even though they’re showing offline, can they be notified by buddyspy or any other program that could alert them that someone is checking their online status? Hope that makes sense.
And, if the person has trillian set up, making all their instant messengers into one group, would it still work? Or does trillian have it’s own features which wouldn’t be picked up on by buddyspy?
Thanks in advance.
Mac_BlueMemberI just want to make sure I understand this…(Sorry if I’m posting this in the wrong area, it’s just this thread has to do with Yahoo too..) So if I want to ignore someone, that is different than blocking them. Basically I delete their name(s) from my Yahoo IM list and then put them in the ignore section… SO then I will not hear from them, ever? Is that correct?
thanks in advance…
Mac_BlueMemberYeah I can’t seem to log onto my ICQ at all. Just hangs…I am worried though I’ll lose all my contacts if I do anything with my ICQ.
Guess I should go check out that link!
Mac_BlueMemberThanks I will check it out.
Just another few questions…If the person uses Trillian, would they still be seen? And also would they be aware of me using this program, buddy spy? Sorry, I know it sounds like a stupid question, but I’m not great at all this stuff.
Thanks.
Mac_BlueMemberI have a friend who has to get out of trillian if she wants to talk to me on Yahoo. It won’t work on her end, so she runs Yahoo on it’s own. Is that what you meant?
Mac_BlueMemberWait a minute. If you delete someone off your Yahoo IM list, they get a message saying you have removed them? I thought that you got a notice when someone was trying to add you – Then you had the option of letting them add you on or you can deny them.
Mac_BlueMemberAnd if Yahoo doesn’t have this option, is there another way of finding out?
I have someone bugging me and they’ve told me that they “know” when I’m online or not. I have blocked them and also hide invisble anyway so if they look for me through other programs they won’t see me.
Mac_BlueMemberWell, you didn’t do a backup of your hard drive. If you did, you’d know about it.
I suggest rebooting and see what happens. If you saved it already and it’s in your drive, it should be there. Unless the drive crashes and doesn’t boot back up, I think you’ll be okay.
Mac_BlueMemberDumb question here, what exactly is buddy spy and what does it do? Does it replace instant messengers or does it give you extras?
Thanks.
Mac_BlueMemberIf they are saved on your hard drive then they should be there if you did a back up of your drive? If not, eeeeeek. Maybe someone else can help you more.
