My mistake..It’s still there when I do a con-alt-del during startup mode.
Is Malwarebytes to download ok to use with windows 98? I just looked and it says it’s windows 2000 and higher.Mac_BlueMemberI did the scans and whatever that was, is gone, at least for now..
As for the toolbar, I did go to view/toolbars, there was check mark beside it, but still wasn’t showing up. So, I did an uninstall, now I can’t find the IE version 6 to install it again. I can’t use 7 because my IE running isn’t v 7. Stupid question, or can I just install whatever new toolbar and it’ll work fine with version 6?
Thanks PatnDoris.
Mac_BlueMemberAnyone????
Mac_BlueMemberOne thing I just thought of, depending on the version of yahoo IM one has, changing your stealth settings to make yourself appear ‘permanently offline’ to various users, you appear OFFLINE to them, not invisible.
Either way, it’s a total invasion of privacy. People go invisible for various reasons and it’s noone’s business as to why!

Phone address/Yahoo/Treo question #165727Mac_BlueMemberAside from the mysterious girl on his list, is he givng you any other reason to doubt him? You could install a keylogger and see if he is doing something behind your back. But, if you have to go through the lengths of doing that, then you two need to talk, there’s more going on inside of your relationship, some trust issues that need to be talked about and fixed.
Mac_BlueMemberIf an account is unactive for 30-90 days does it just disappear? Stupid question, I know.

Mac_BlueMemberIE. And I’m not using Ad Muncher, just whatever is set on IE…Don’t know what that is called.
I did just dump my cache/temp int file too and I still can’t log on. My yahoo instant messenger works now, but the email account won’t open. I can still log into my other yahoo account fine. Weird…
I googled Yahoo email problems and sept 1 2007, read that afew others are having some problems but it’s inconsistant. Also was mentioned it could take afew days to fix.
Anyway, if you hear or anybody else hears more info on this, feel free to reply!
Thanks Ven0m for your help.

I know, dumb question.Thanks.
August 15, 2007 at 5:31 pm in reply to: The near perfect method to see who has you blocked on MSN? #162790Mac_BlueMemberThose may work for MSN/WLM contacts, but what about contacts from Yahoo IM? YIM and WLM are compatible now, so can you check to see if you were blocked if you’re a YIM contact on a WLM friends list?
Mac_BlueMemberSooo…Just bumping up this thread and wondering if Yahoo/WLM has created this feature for yahoo users who talk to WLM folk.
Mac_BlueMemberInstall a keylogger on his computer. This way you can see all that goes on, and the stuff he deletes.
Is he just talking to his friends? How is his messenger set up?
At 8 years old, you should know exactly who he is talking to, and what he is doing while surfing the net – And not feel bad about it! The way I look at it, better safe than sorry.
Mac_BlueMemberThe only thing I can think of is, he is appearing invisible when he logs on. Have you asked him how he logs in? Available to all or invisible?
Mac_BlueMemberchandra1;218852 wrote:its greatYeah, that didn’t help, thanks.
Anyone else have any thoughts?
“online to 1 contact”, “offline to 13 contacts”, and “online to everyone else.”
Why does it say “online to everyone else” when I’m only showing to one person.
Mac_BlueMemberIt’s the “online to everyone else” that stumped me, that’s all. I know my settings are set up to show me online to only those on my list, so I can’t be seen by others I don’t know.
Thanks Dermot!
