thanks for wanting it. Almost everything I ever make is easy, and this is very easy.
It was my mothers recipe for years, so it is a very treasured recipe to me. There are probably a million like it, but, this was hers. Getting my sentimental ole heart going now. ๐
I never even tried to make it until after she died. It is very very good.melnee
MemberWell, Happy late Thanksgiving to all Canadians. and thank you for the wishes. I am sure we Americans will be enjoying our turkeys for days, and days. ๐

MemberWell, shearheaven, it looks like i aint gonna get to try the recipe for turkey afterall. My sister in law has decided she wants to cook the turkey. hmmmmm, interesting, but I was not about to argue, she can have at it. ๐
Have any of you ever tried crock pot dressing? I make that every year, and it is wonderful!!! Always comes out perfect, not too dry or moist. I ran across that recipe a few years ago, and ask my mother if I could make the dressing that year, and try it. She said sure, but my daddy made her make some also, cause he thought it wouldnt be good. Mother could make wonderful dressing, but the whole family loved this so much, that i got to be the dressing maker from that year on. ๐ gosh, I felt like a cooking queen. lol

MemberRusted, I agree totally!!! I know we are all gonna die someday, of something, and I am in no hurry to rush the process along, but food is soooooooooooooo good! I can not find it in my heart to do without that juicy cheeseburger, or fries occasionally! I dont smoke, and I dont do drugs, so I figure I am doing about all I can to prolong life.
As I see the quickly approaching birthday on the horizion, I think what the hay, I have a man that loves me just the way I am, wider and wider, ๐ I am also too dang old to care. so,,,, bring on the food. Where is that coconut cake??? yummmmmmmmmmmmelnee
MemberOHH, I really like that one. I have that job myself, and I love it. It is very rewarding most of the time. But, there are a few days that I really want to quit. No 2 week notice, just walk out the door. Then I look into those eyes, and see the souls of my precious angels, sent to me from God, and I think, why would I want to leave? I love my Job!!!:D
melnee
MemberThank you Shear,,, thats sounds delicious and much easier than the first one. We are not big turkey eaters, but maybe I will be able to do a good enough job, to get by. ๐
melnee
MemberThat sounds good, but it also sounds too hard, or too much trouble. Im lazy I guess, but I need easy. Plus, this is the first year both my parents are dead, so its up to me to prepare the entire dinner myself. I am in a panic about that. And I have never cooked a turkey, so , any easy suggestions?? ๐ฎ

MemberBefore I got a new car, I had a pretty old junker, well, my kids thought so anyway, but I loved the bumper sticker that said, Dont laugh, its paid for!

MemberI like #29. I certainly feel that way every month when i get a pay check.:(

MemberLol,, sorry shearheaven, didnt mean to scare all the potential rugged men away… maybe the real smart, rugged and masculine males are just smart enough to not scare away, but to quietly back away till safer times. I think that study might be correct since I know the sizzors and bat thoughts are true, and I think the rugged male thing is too. My husband works in the wood industry, and when I am not dreaming of the bat up his butt, I think he is the sexiest when he gets home from work, smelling of pine and diesel smoke, hair is messy with some dirt on his face,,, mmmmmmmmmmmmmm,, i could eat him up right then and there…. :p
melnee
Memberlol… alright windaphoner!!! you takin care of em huh? those two that wanted to step forward as the masculine male, better take a good look around, I see several pair of shiny sharp sizzors, and I am feeling the need to shove a bat somewhere right now! ๐ก

MemberThanks for the information and links you post here Rustedtight. I use Winmx. Its the only one I have used and I have heard and read alot of others recommend this or that, but I never know if I should trust the opinions I get. I have wanted to try a different one, because Winmx is very slow for me. I am going to try the Kazaa lite, because I trust your opinions, and information. Thanks again for all the help you give. ๐
