MemberHmm… its not letting me do it anymore…

MemberWell you can’t take yourself off of it anymore, read Cronus’s post.

MemberOK the more I look at this the more I need it *L* When do you think you’ll get the final of this done (sorry to nag, just curious)?
panickedthumb
MemberDeadaim and many other addons and standalone programs do it. Check the files section.

MemberOK dude, this is bloody incredible. When you make the 5.5 version that’s compatible with Deadaim I’ll be all on top of that. Seriously, this is amazing. So much better than the version I downloaded just a few weeks ago.

MemberVinny, Jeff is the administrator of the forums entirely, he’s already replied to this, so he apparently has no problem with what miami is doing.

Memberthe first one would be nice, but the second one would be pointless, because as soon as they notice that you’re coming back from away, etc, without the alert, they’re just going to set it again. Also, when you don’t have someone blocked, and you don’t have your list set up to only accept messages from people on your list, your online status, like everything else, is basically in the public domain

MemberWhy don’t you auction them on ebay? You’d probably get more money for them there… I don’t know if they’ll let you do it on ebay, but if they don’t, maybe that should tell you something anyway.

MemberI’ll have to agree with WM on this one… JmAnCoOo was the first to be rude, saying that white materia is ignorant, etc etc. That was completely unfounded.
panickedthumb
Memberyou can get a program like smileybot to get ALL of them. I guess jdennis and the crew just put in the most common ones or something

MemberUuuhhh… dude… No… it’s about privacy… if you don’t want someone to have you on their list then you should be able to take yourself off… but if they don’t want you on their list, and you add them, that’s a privacy issue. They may have it set so that only people on their list can see them… maybe they don’t want you to be able to see them. And if they DON’T have it set like that, just IM them and tell them to add you to their list. Or make an aim: link that adds you to someone’s list and somehow get them to click on it, then it’s their fault for being stupid and clicking something they didn’t know what was.

Membersearch for your screenname by entering every email addy you can think of, then have them send you the password

MemberYou’re having two different issues here… the issue about the .net account is annoying, yes, and I have no clue why it doesn’t seem to like you, but the “messenger service” ads have nothing to do with Windows Messenger or MSN Messenger. The Messenger Service (also known as netsend) used to be a great way to communicate across networks (and still is in corporate situations), but it has also become a way for spammers to send you their crap. That’s the issue with the messenger service. You need to set up a firewall, they block Messenger Service spam.

MemberWell it shouldn’t be hard to hack it all down and repackage it should it? Kinda like a Kazaa lite thing. I’d like to see that.

Memberwith trillian you can just delete the dlls for the protocols you don’t use and it won’t even load them into memory at all, so it’ll just act like it’s only an aim program. The other protocol icons won’t even show up on the bottom.
