MemberHow can you allow a person who would abuse or starve a child to reproduce when there are so many decent, caring people who can’t conceive?

MemberThat sounds pretty good. Is that the Atkins diet that you’re doing? I tried that for awhile. Now I’m doing the Insulin Resistance diet. Your carbs are limited with it, but you can have a little bit of bread. A diet like that is not too hard to do. I’ve lost 5 lbs. so far and don’t really feel like I’m being denied of anything. 🙂

MemberCure for Sorrow
There is an old Chinese tale about a woman whose only son died. In her grief, she went to the holy man and said, “What prayers, what magical incantations do you have to bring my son back to life?”
Instead of sending her away or reasoning with her, he said to her, “Fetch me a mustard seed from a home that has never known sorrow. We will use it to drive the sorrow out of your life.” The woman went off at once in search of that magical mustard seed.
She came first to a splendid mansion, knocked at the door, and said, “I am looking for a home that has never known sorrow. Is this such a place? It is very important to me.”
They told her, “You’ve certainly come to the wrong place,” and began to describe all the tragic things that recently had befallen them.
The woman said to herself, “Who is better able to help these poor, unfortunate people that I, who have had misfortune of my my own?” Shestayed to comfort them, then went on in search of a home that had never known sorrow. But wherever she turned, in hovels and in other places, she found one tale after another of sadness and misfortune. She became so involved in ministering to other people’s grief that ultimately she forgot about her quest for the magical mustard seed, never realizing that it had, in fact, driven the sorrow out of her life.

MemberThanks for the info rusty 🙂
I had been using the Morpheus Preview Edition
and was very disappointed with it.
I am now using Grokster and am so much
happier with it. It’s so much faster and easier to use.

MemberOne of my most embarrassing moments happened just last night. I went out for pizza and beer with some of my coworkers after work. This bar we were at was pretty crowded and there were several people standing outside. As we were leaving the bar I stepped off the curb to cross the street to get to my car. Somehow my ankle twisted on me and …..
down I went. There I was sprawled out right in the middle of the street with my coworkers and all the people hanging out in front of the bar watching me
. I got up and kept on walking, too embarrassed to look behind me. I know everyone was thinking I must have had too much to drink, but I promise … I REALLY WAS SOBER!! Luckily nothing but my pride was hurt. I got alot of razzing from my coworkers and I know they are never going to let me live that down.
