shifterParticipant
yuck! hotdogs suck 🙁
i was bored so i went to http://www.freetranslation.com and translated the quotes:
Quote:quote:Originally posted by hmeleanYa instale el messenger 6.0 y no puedo conectarme … que puedo hacer …
English
Already you coax him the messenger 6.0 and I cannot connect me… that I can do..Quote:quote:Originally posted by MaraprettyPues mira amigo, no te conviene tener instalada esa version, no se por que no puedes conectarte.
Therefore it looks friend, you does not agree to have installed that version, not itself because you cannot connect you. But in the personal thing I have the 5.0.Since the version 6.0 is beta version, brings many bugs, and probably one of them be that of not being able to connect you successively.
Better you wait for that leave the version final, so that you save yourself this type of problems and do you the life but facil ok?
hope that spreads some light on the situation for us English only type people:D
shifterParticipantMy guess is that MSN has either dropped support for msn.com addresses or has yet to add it to the new version. As you know it is a Beta version, which means it has bugs and is not complete.
My advice is to go back to MSN 5 if you need that feature. Or you can always get a new hotmail account and switch everything over to it – pain in the a** though. If you really want to keep msn 6 beta, and want a quick way to logon to hotmail why not save a shortcut to http://www.hotmail.com on your desktop? Or put it in your Links in IE.
shifterParticipantYeah, I saw the article yesterday and thought it was quite funny.
Not having to deal with much of the actual problem here in Western Canada, its easy to forget that there are many people who are afflicted by this disease, mainly overseas, but there is a small re-occuring outbreak in Toronto.
But I really don’t think these emoticons should be taken too seriously. If you do find it offensive, i guess thats your choice, but I think some humor on the situation is needed. Otherwise we’ll all go insane!! Especially with the MadCow “Outbreak” here (If you can call one cow an outbreak that is )shifterParticipantQuote:quote:Originally posted by SoccerSwty99do u need like msn accounts to talk to msn ppl on trillian and like that with all the others i think so
Yes, in order to connect to the Msn Messaging Network you need to have either a hotmail or passport account with them.
GO TO: http://www.hotmail.com or http://register.passport.net/default.srf?sl=1 to get oneshifterParticipantwhere did you hear that? I know that firewalls can be the problem, but i have never heard of it being the solution
shifterParticipantAre you in the right forum?? Perhaps you should post this question in the Trillian Forum for help with this question.
Also, you never stated that you were using Trillian in your original post, so its hard to help you out. I had assumed you were using msn messenger since this is the msn messenger board.I dont know why games came up in Brians post or how he managed to know you were using Trillian? Very strange, I must have missed something somewhere?
shifterParticipantYikes can’t find tools!!
ok well if you have MSN open, T[/b]ools is a menu at the top, click on that and a menu will drop down, next choose O[/b]ptions and it will open a new window with all of MSN’s options. The first option under Personal is your Screen Name, which is defaulted to be your email address. Simply change that to your desired Screen Name the hit the OK button.
shifterParticipantAnd does this work with Messenger 6.0 ???
shifterParticipantI don’t think that it gives you an option during installation, but I’m sure there may be a way. It would likely require editing some registry entries and manually moving the Messenger Files over to your other Drive. Unless your familiar with editing the registry, I’d discourage you from trying that as it can be quite easy to corrupt your whole system. Messenger is a fairly small program so it probably would be best just to let it live on the C drive.
shifterParticipantI apologize for my rudeness 😮
Quote:quote:Hmmm, since it appears that english is likely not your first language I won’t comment on your horribly put together sentences. It was uncalled for. I’m a big fan of the Matrix, and i got a bit carried away. We are each entilted to our own views :p Sorry sciencefeeling 🙁
I do agree that the first Matrix was waaaay better, but i was not dissapointed with Reloaded.
Anyway, I better go see when Charlies Angels 2 is playin…….
P.S. I loved the Godfather movies too…
OK SPOILER HERE DONT READ IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN THIS MOVIE
btw sciencefeeling ( i cant seem to leave this well enough alone)….How did you predict that neo was not the first One? And that the Oracle was actually working for the machines, and that Neo would posses power over the machines in the real world after he denied the maker??? I must be slow cuz i never saw those comin…must just be me though.OK I have one complaint about Reloaded…I understood it. I had to watch the first Matrix like 3 times before i figured out what the hell was going on. I like having to think sometimes yknow.
shifterParticipantThis has been discussed before on the message board (https://bigblueball.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3635), but so you know since MSN Messenger 6 Beta is a BETA, it is not yet official, so you cannot expect programs like Plus! to be completely compatable. Patchou, the maker of Plus!, is currently updating the program so that it will be compatable. No compatible versions are available for download as of yet. Probably in the next month you’ll see a release of the new Plus! 2.5.
(Note: An update of Plus! is available that will fix it from messing up MsnM6 but does not have any features, d/l here > http://www.msgplus.net)
shifterParticipantPLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOW AN OUTDATED VERSION OF THE BIGBLUEBALL MSN FAQ. IF YOU HAVE BOOKMARKED THIS PAGE OR IF THE LINK WAS POSTED ELSE WHERE, PLEASE UPDATE IT TO THE FOLLOWING:

shifterParticipantIf it was an MSN Hotmail Password try these links –
Forgot your password? Reset it here with your secret question – http://go.msn.com/HML/6/13.asp
still can’t remember or get in (perhaps someone has gained access to your account?) then go here – http://registernet.passport.net/contactushm.srf?lc=1033&sd=p
shifterParticipantHmmm, since it appears that english is likely not your first language I won’t comment on your horribly put together sentences.
But as to your comments about the film, (You never actually did put a spoiler in your post btw):
1. I wonder what you expected to get out of this movie?? How can anyone expect to top a movie that had the ability to change the way we think about life! They expanded on the story and did it very well. I won’t spoil it here but I loved the new twists on the One.
2. How can you say it was predictable?? are you telling me you new that (SPOILER) and that (SPOILER) was going to happen??? I doubt it.
3. And perhaps you never heard that Keaunu actually gave up his share of the films profits so that they could afford to put in all the special effects. And if you think this was crap then what is good? Charlie’s Angels 2 perhaps is more up your alley??shifterParticipantIf you mean how to disable the windows xp firewall then :
Open My Network Places then in the Network Tasks sidebar choose View network connections, double click Local Area Connection then hit the Properties then go to the Advanced tab and uncheck the box next to Protect my computer and network by limiting or preventing access to the computer from the Internet
And thats it.
