netstat only tells you what IP(s) connected to your computer. Not everyone knows how to use it, or have the time to check it every time. Also, netstat do not block them from seeing your webcam. Please, next time when you post, say a little bit more, instead of just…”netstat”. Not everyone knows what you mean 😮

She just has her webcam on with that message, nothing to worry about.
sara_g00fy wrote:What I would like to know is this..is there any programs out there that will let someone view my cam..without me knowing?I’m afraid the answer is YES. The very common program that circulates the internet allows people to connect to anyone’s webcam by just knowing your nick. When they connect, you will be prompted asking whether you allow “anonymous” view your webcam. If you accidentally click yes, or typing without looking at the screen, which allow them to view your webcam.
Another underground version of the program allows them to view your webcam without displaying any permission dialog nor will it shows their name on your “Who’s viewing my webcam” list. It is underground, so hopefully not many have it on their hands.
Hope this helps, and may GOD helps us all.
P.S: Please DO NOT ask me for programs such as these. It is ILLEGAL. Thank you.

MemberYeh, I would like Unsakred to share his ideas also. For me his program totally misses the newest version of Magic PS. Anyhow, if you did a full scan using Norton Antivirus 2005 and it came up with nothing, you can rest assure that your computer is fine.

MemberCurrently Norton Antivirus 2005/2004 and AntiMPS program does indeed works and will rid your system of Magic PS (all versions).
Run AntiMPS first, AntiMPS will get rid of Magic PS from memory and registry changes. Next run Norton Antivirus to get rid of Magic PS’s files on your computer.
As for Yahoo! File Safe 2, Webroot Spysweeper (all versions) and as well as a couple of programs claiming to rid your PC of Magic PS does NOT work.

MemberMost of you might not know that the Magic PS was created by a group of people in the Middle East. Now I have a program that I think was created by a different group of people in the Middle East to counteract the Magic PS Trojan. You could go here for the program: https://bigblueball.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26591
Please note that I did NOT fully tested the program. Please use it at your own risk and please do provide feedback. Thank you =)

MemberMagic PS (all versions) was created by the people in the Middle East. Now an Anti-Magic PS (all versions) also was created by the people in the Middle East. Please note that I did not fully tested this program yet. If anyone willing to test it, please provide your feedback here. Thanks =)
UPDATE: Yes, the program does work 😉
NOTE: This program is NOT the same one as Dermot’s Anti-Ps =P

MemberDear miGs,
I will take a look at YahooFileSafe2 to see how it works. Also, what programs did you use that claim to detect Magic PS? Please let me know, I will test it and will post the results here.

MemberDear Dermot,
Thank you for your contribution. I will take a look at your program =)
Keep up the good work.
UPDATE: I tested your program. Yes, it is a nice tool to aid in removing Magic PS in general but it does not rid Magic PS from the PC, (an example would be the files it created, etc.) but of course you can always make it better =D

MemberXERY wrote:Can Magic PS 1.5 SE be detected by norton 2004 ? or do you need something more?Dear XERY, the answer is yes, but scan and delete in Window’s Safe Mode only. Sometimes it will not kill it if running under Normal Mode.
Good luck =)
SS_AntiHacker
MemberDear Pall,
Have you try Norton Antivirus 2005 or 2004? Please do try those 2 first in Window’s Normal mode, to make sure it is dead, use it in Window’s Safe Mode.
Please keep me posted, good luck =)

MemberDear Aman,
I’m 100% sure you got trojans and spywares in your computer. Is your spybot and ad-aware up-to-date? If not, update them. If that still won’t help, use an up-to-date antivirus and do a full system scan to remove the trojan first to stop it from downloading spywares on your computer. Next do a spyware scan. Try Webroot’s Spysweeper and Microsoft’s Antispyware. Hope this help. Come back if you still have problems.
Good luck !!!

MemberDear Oreo,
Yes, Ad-Aware is very good now but it seems that Ad-Aware is better at detecting ad-wares and spywares that are not commercially made, such as software that allows parents to spy on their kids. In the other hand, Giant Software based and Webroot’s Spysweeper are better at detecting commercial “spywares”. They all are very good, but not enough if use alone.
The best is to have them all =)

MemberUhm…If I am alone and I don’t have to go to work then I would just stay home, sleep all the way past noon, hihi, don’t call me lazy k =P. Went online, surf around. Wash the dishes, and maybe does a little house work.

MemberDon’t feel bad guys, I scored 10/17 myself…this test is not entirely correct, because no girls are alike. Even if you scored a 17/17 in this test, you could end up 0/17 with another girl =)
