MemberMake sure everyone do a Sign-Out and then Exit the YM! software. Sometimes exiting, closing the YM! software before choosing Sign-out first or disconnect from the Internet before Sign-out will results in lost offline messages.

MemberShadowdogMU wrote:ok I have video files, AVI and MPEG that I would like to burn to a CD (no DVD burner… 🙁 ) so my questions are: 2 of the video files equal exactly 699 mv, will they fit on a CD (it says 700mb, but with the VCD stuff…) and which is better VCD or S-VCD, whats the difference. ALso if I put them in my DVD player after burned will I be able to use the skip funtion to jump between the two videos?Hi, there are many variations to a VCD. Yes, the file will fit but sometimes you have to do some converstion to make it readable in a standalone DVD player. SVCD have better quality than VCD but also take up more space and not many DVD player are compatible with it. If you want more compatibilty, do use VCD, but if your DVD player can handle SVCD, and if you don’t mind swapping multiple CDs just to finish a movie, then just use SVCD. It takes time and experimenting. Overall, I would just use DVD instead, save time, money and better quality.

MemberShadowdogMU wrote:What about a computer with a DVD player, wouldn’t it be able to play any region? The answer would be yes but no, it is up to the software player that you are using. Some software lets you change the region code up to 5 times, after that it lock up on the last region you chose.

MemberThe Administrator account can be deleted (NOT by normal means) but why would you want to delete it? It is there as part of Windows. Trust me and keep it =) It is there in case you might have deleted all your other admin accounts. Think of what happen if you don’t have any admin account left in your system =P

MemberDon’t worry MiamiGuy =)
It is normal to have an Administrator account. You will not see it in Normal mode but you will see it under Safe Mode. You will see it too under Normal mode if you don’t have any other “administrator” permission account.
Relax 😉

MemberHei BBE,
Go into control panel, choose “Sounds, Speech, and Audio devices”. Choose “Sound and Audio Devices”. If you are using the classic view, then you could just go straight to “Sound and Audio Devices”. Go into the “Sound” tab and make sure you choose the right “Sound Scheme”. Just play around, your answer is in there =)

MemberMicrosoft Antispyware is also another good FREE software, you might want to give it a try =)…but never forget to run all of them in Safe-Mode. A lot of spywares can only be killed in this mode. Also…one sad news is even though you combined all anti-spywares programs out there…you only have a detection rate of only 90% of the total numbers of spywares out there.

First of all, remember not to reply and not to click on the links. 2ndly, go into yours Ignore list in YM’s preferences and choose the option “ignore anyone who is not on my Messenger list”.
Please reply if you still have questions or if I did not answered it correctly.

MemberHi, you have a 50% chance that your printer will work in Linux but with limited capabilities, and about 20% that it will work just like it work under Windows. I think the best way is to put out some money and upgrade your RAM, about 256 to 512 MB will do, rather going insane trying to get your printer to work in Linux.

MemberYahoo Messenger 6 requires flash to work properly. Install Flash Player from http://www.macromedia.com.
That site is trusted, so if Windows asks, just allow it to install.
