MemberDear bettina,
It would be great if you can provide me with the link to the program that you downloaded or you could put it up on a temporary hosting site and give me the link to download. I could analyze it, add it to my own proprietary antivirus software and provide you with the answer.

MemberDear RedFox,
If I’m a network admin in your work place, I would say that I can basically see and know everything you did. Just try not to do something that you know is not appropriate in your work place.

It could also be the telephone line from your house to the outside. If you have a bad cable, even DSL can have problems. As I said before, even 1 packet that is out sync can cause problems like that.

MemberHi everyone =)
I’m not sure if this will fix the problem for you guys, this problem can have thousands of causes to it, but I hoped I can help. First off all, make sure you log out of every service(s) from Yahoo!, including your Yahoo! Messenger. Now go into http://login.yahoo.com and sign in, but make sure you don’t check the box “Remember my ID on this computer”. As soon as you successfully log in through the web site. Now log into your Yahoo! Messenger, also don’t have it remember your ID and password. Now sign out of Yahoo! Messenger and then exit the program entirely. Next is for you to log out of Yahoo! web site by clicking on Log Out.
I hope this work for you guys, and also make sure your computer is clean, as not having any viruses, spywares, trojans, keylogger, etc.
Please come back with a result =)
Good luck

MemberNetti wrote:SS, you are saying that by being online, but “invisible” that hackers can advantage of this vulnerability, or when you are offline and someone sends you an offline message? And what if ytunnel is engaged and pm’s are turned off, is this helping to protect you from this vulnerability? As Oreo said, I am not asking for specifics, just to find out what you mean, as to protect myself and others from this vulnerability.
Dear Netti,
Yes, you have to be online, and in “Stealth/Invisible” mode while having your status as “Offline” and the hacker must be in your buddy list for it to work. As long as you block everyone besides the people in your list, you should be safe =)…unless your buddy knows how to exploit this and want to mess with you =P

Membersunflowers wrote:OK, I tried the sign out first method. It worked. BUT, I have never signed out before, just xed out and I always got offline messages and the people ive sent them to have gotten them as well. Is this a new thing? Or another once in awhile glitch?Dear Sunflowers, it doesn’t happen to everyone, but it does happen quite often. Sometimes exiting directly will cause YM! to exit before actually signing you out. If Yahoo! still thinks you are online, you won’t be able to receive offline messages. Yes this is a new problem; several years ago it was fine when you exit directly.

When the connection goes out of sync for just 1 packet. Ok, just to make it easier to understand, basically when your connection from you to the Yahoo! server(s) and between the Yahoo! server(s) and everything between it to your recipient(s), if just something goes out of sync, that happens. Really not much you can do, because everything in between can cause that. This happens a lot especially if you are talking to someone in another side of the world =/

Memberkimmy wrote:Ok, this is rediculous. It happened again today. I messaged my friend, this morning, I made sure to sign out as usual. He never got any of them.Hi Kimmy,
Did you make sure that he is the one who need to sign out and then exit? The person who is going to receive the message need to do that, not the one who sends them =)

Membershifter wrote:That window should have popped up when you hit the backup button in DVDShrink. Not necessarily Shifter, the best way is just go into the program’s options menu and change it. DVDShrink should have its default option as All Region, so changing won’t be necessary.
NOTE: DVDShrink will ask what is the DVD Region of your source drive (the disk that you want to copy) after pressing the Backup button. Make sure you specify the correct region.SS_AntiHacker
MemberHi everyone,
First of all, the gibberish you see in Notepad is not machine code. Secondly, it is possible to re-write almost everything in an .exe except in a few cases, which I do not want to list here. As for you Neo, it is not easy, you must know Assembly, and a thorough understanding of the binary and hex system. There are tools out there that help you, but it’s really hard to find. The best way is to create your own tools =)

MemberHi jc, try to have your computer scanned with up-to-date antivirus and antispyware. It seems that Firefox contains highly dangerous holes that allow hackers to do whatever they want, that you can do to your own computer. Right now, just be careful what you download and what web site you visit.
